Thanks again to all the musicians who submitted songs for Radio this week! .

My favorite of the bunch was Somniaferum's eclectic new release "Stories 'bout a lonely bird."

"Come on, Arduous Hummingbird" starts out acoustic then speeds up in a hurry with some heavy electric guitars. That bird must be drinking a lot of nectar.

I beg you--somebody out there please use "Days of fulfilled hope" for your high school graduation montage!! This song's got a big sense of optimism and epicness, and some of the prettiest red tunnels you've ever seen.

"The highest bliss" manages to be both relaxed and epic at the same time--heavy guitars are balanced by some light piano melodies and bells suggesting memories of childhood.

Somniaferum's frontman is also known as the player CrashmasterJay.

Thanks again to all the musicians who submitted songs for Radio this week! Here are my top pics.

First up is some techno from Loudcore. I know y'all will love the fast pace of "Lost in Space" and the groovy mellowness of "Reason."

Then we have a couple tunes from King Richard's Sunday Best. "Motor Vehicle Utilization" is an ode to the philosophical aspects of the driver's licensing process. "I Know You Reiter" tackles 8 or 9 different genres in under 4 minutes--from country western to gregorian chant, it's all there.

Thanks to all the musicians who submitted music this week for Radio! Here are my top pics from the bunch.

First up, three tracks from SGX. "Die Anyway" and "Span" are solid trance tracks, and "Right Back Up" incorporates some rap vocals. These tracks are available for free on SGX's website.

Next up, a tune from Kriegless, otherwise known by his playername Invisus64. "Stalemate" takes some static-y noises and runs with em.

It's a fan-created-music week on Radio!

First up we have 3 tracks from Groovy Star. "Digital Droids", "Fusion Rider" and "Juggernaut" make me think of rainbows and glitter and unicorns on my Trapper Keeper and other good 80s things.

Also we have a track from Hunter van Brocklin (his player name is "anemptylake") called "Nothing says I love you like a minor four chord." This track also has a strong 80s vibe. As I listen to it, I keep seeing Jason Priestley running through the sand at the beach club. Dude, I am so Andrea.

If you want your music to be considered for Radio, email me at elizabeth@audio-surf.com

This week on Radio we've got a couple of 6+ minute psytrance songs from Italy's <a href="http://www.myspace.com/djsimos71">DjSimos</a>.

"Linear gravity" has a middle-eastern flair to the melody and "Density" is made super-dense with the as-steep tag.
