Patch Notes
Characters
  • Fred: Boon of the Phoenix and Lichsoul will no longer trigger at the same time, wasting the benefit of both effects, when Fred takes lethal damage while under the effect of both.

  • Qadam Park has seen some slight landscaping improvements.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a Porphry player issue where Porphry could use Rend and Mighty Blow even without a weapon equipped.
  • Fixed a Porphry player issue where Trance Warrior's description text overlapped the text box
  • Fixed a Porphry player issue where casting Weirbreak or Cauterize on a taunting, otherwise ineligible target could crash the game.

  • Fixed a Tali player issue where Jiji could appear incorrectly in battle after adjusting the party between battle attempts
  • Fixed an issue in the Prologue where waterfalls in the Qadam Park weren't animated correctly
  • Fixed an issue in Chapter 1 where Jiji was missing from a cutscene despite having dialogue, and moonwalked into the scene backwards!

  • Fixed an issue in Chapter 1 where ents appeared to be floating in midair during a certain encounter
  • Fixed an issue in Chapter 2 where waterfalls in the Mine Camp weren't animated correctly

Nested Lands - lyamina
Hello, survivors!

Today, we announced the launch of the demo version of Nested Lands. For the OTK Games Expo, we’ve prepared a brand new version of the game with countless improvements, new mechanics, an updated Plague and new quest system, and more.

Due to the fact that the festival is being held over the weekend, we were unfortunately unable to release the demo in time for it. But don’t worry, the demo version will be available next week, as soon as everything is squared away and approved. To make up for the delay, we are reopening the playtest version so you can refresh your memory a bit. And trust us, you’ll be able to see just how much Nested Lands has evolved in only the past few months.

As soon as the demo becomes available, we’ll let you know here, on Steam, and on all our social media.

Join our Discord server to participate in community discussions, to be the first to hear upcoming news, and to communicate directly with our dev team.

Thank you for your patience, and see you soon!
Encounter: A 8-Bit Noir Adventure... - Defence Force
Encounter was reviewed in the issue #006 of BrewOtaku ("The Homebrew Gaming Magazine" covering new games for old consoles, handhelds and computers).

The game received a 85% "BrewScore", with the following conclusion:
Encounter HD is a standout homage to the golden age of gaming, crafted with care and precision for the Oric Atmos.
With a captivating plot, clever design, and plenty of classic charm, it’s an irresistible trip down memory lane.
Adventurers, prepare for an unforgettable journey.

If you are interested, you can get the magazine in digital or physical form on the BrewOtaku website.

If you haven't yet posted your review of the game on Steam, I encourage you to do so, because at least 10 reviews are needed for Steam to consider the score valid!"

Thanks!

Shashingo: Learn Japanese with Photography - Autumn Pioneer

Localisation
Wonderful members of the community have helped to localise the game into several new languages! Shashingo now supports learning Japanese from:
  • French (Français)
  • German (Deutsch)
  • Spanish (EU) (Español (EU))
  • Spanish (Latin American) (Español (LAT.))
  • Brazilian Portuguese (português brasileiro)
  • Simplified Chinese (简体中文)

We hope that this allows more of you to study Japanese with your native language rather than having to rely on what you know in English.

As this has been a community effort, we would appreciate if you could share with us any issues you may find in the new languages over on our Discord server or on the Steam Forums.

Romaji + Kana
Added Romaji + Kana option for viewing the flash cards! This is good for beginners if you are not yet comfortable with hiragana and katakana!

Steam Trading Cards
You can now collect Steam trading cards for Shashingo! Collecting complete sets will allow you to earn and level up a Shashingo specific badge that has cool artwork, and earn new chat emoticons and user profile backgrounds! You can earn trading cards by playing the game, or purchase them via the marketplace from other users.
