The ridiculously good Bit.Trip Runner has a sequel, of sorts, on the way. It's not part of the Bit.Trip series, though, so it's simply called Runner 2. Which about sums up what's going on.
Note that, as good as this already looks, it's a "super sneaky peek" at pre-alpha code, which you'll eventually realise with the lack of effects or background animations.

Details of the next Humble Indie Bundle have once more leaked, because Steam’s Content Description Record Viewer Thingamie is so ludicrously easy for people to spy. And it looks like it’s going to be a bit of a corker, as spotted by DIY Gamer. In the pay-what-you-want collection it seems there will be Super Meat Boy, BIT.TRIP.RUNNER, Jamestown, Nightsky and Shank. That’s the first wave, and then there’s even better to get added in.
The adventures of Commander Video are served six ways in the new Bit.Trip Saga, the Nintendo 3DS compilation that will included every Bit.Trip game released by developer Gaijin Games. Not only do you get Bit. Trip Beat, you get Core, Void, Runner, Fate and Flux.
That's more than two years worth of Bit.Trip releases on one cartridge. And that's not all. If you act... whenever Bit.Trip Saga comes out, you'll get all six games in stereoscopic 3D! So many dimensions!
Publisher Aksys Games didn't put a price or date on the Bit.Trip Saga, but with a half-dozen games, gobs of levels, sweet chiptuney music and "crushing difficulty" it should be worth the cost/wait.
