Waveform Update Released

Announcement:
-New DLC arriving next week which will be free for all current Waveform owners and anyone who purchases the game by the end of next week. Although you’ll have to wait until the DLC releases to explore the dwarf planet Eris, you can catch a glimpse of what’s to come in the Level Select menu in today’s update.

Fixes:
-If the internet connection to the Steam servers is broken for whatever reason during a Deep Space Mode, the game would freeze upon exiting the Deep Space Mode as it waited to retrieve data from the Leaderboards. This is now fixed, and the Leaderboard screen will be automatically bypassed if no data can be retrieved from the Steam servers.
-Fixed a Light Orb that wouldn’t be hit by a Fireworks in Sun 4
-Fixed the screen transition effect that happens when you enter a Black Hole while in the Pulse challenge mode

-The second Leaderboard Challenge has come to and end. Thanks to all participants and congratulations to the top 5 finishers, all of whom will receive a free Steam copy of the indie game Capsized!

Bug fixes:
-Fixed a problem where the title screen would only display a portion of the normal screen (black background with a star field and the cursor) and make it impossible to get into the game
-Fixed the end tutorial screens on Pluto 2 and Pluto 4
-Improved game initialization load times
-Fixed text overlapping for short names and large scores when on the loading screen for a Deep Space Mode
-Fixed a bug on Earth 4 that prevented one Light Orb from being collected by a Fireworks while in the Hyper challenge mode
-Fixed text wrapping on loading screens for 1280x1024 screen resolutions
-Fixed the Pulse challenge mode for Asteroid Belt 6

Bug fixes:
-Fixed a problem on older ATI graphics cards that had slow implementations for rendering to a texture. This caused the screen to remain black and the game to become unresponsive when entering a level
-Fixed the awarding of end of level bonuses on Sun 6
-Improved load times for Deep Space Mode
-Removed blocking loads on the Leaderboard Screen
-Fixed the functionality of Prisms in New Game+ levels that had the Flux bonus type applied
-Made sure cursor images weren’t hidden when returning to the menu from a level
-Fixed strange behaviour of Asteroids on Mars 6 at certain screen resolutions

Bug fixes:
-Fixed the active challenge mode when entering a Black Hole during the New Game + mode
-Fixed the camera offset to the Singularity at high resolution when you enter the game through the launch menu, which was creating a few impossible scenarios
-The Singularity will no longer suck up Radar Arrays that have already been triggered
-Fixed the roll-over animation on the Dark Challenge Mode button

-Fix saving profile data when not using Steam Cloud
-For certain ATI graphics cards, something in the OpenGL driver is causing a crash after the game’s launch menu. If this happens, the menu will automatically be disabled the next time the game is run
