After a thorough open beta phase we are now ready to unleash version 2.2.1 to the world! In fact, we've already done so! Should you not have received the prompt to update your client then just restart Steam to grab the latest update.

We made a whole host of tweaks and changes across the board, so many in fact that it makes Steam's character limit tremble in fear. As such, please click the link below for the full patch notes!

Change of plans guys! This turned out to be far more serious than we thought, and required some fairly dangerous code to fix, so we are postponing the regular patch to early next week to give you guys a chance to test the fix and make sure it works.

We also threw in a fix for the "Shia Calphate always being created early so we never get the rise of the Shia event" problem for good measure.

If nothing else super-serious pops up this is what will be released as the 2.2.1 patch.

Keep in mind that this is a beta branch, so there could still be bugs, crashes and odd behaviour, use at your own risk.
If you want to use the beta branch, right click the game in the Steam client, choose Properties, click the "Betas" tab and select the "Beta 2.2.0.9" version of the game.
