Chivalry: Medieval Warfare

There's already a lot to like about Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, the first-person medieval combat game from Torn Banner. But there's perhaps even more to like about this video of a bunch of people playing on a low-gravity server. Hang with it for about thirty seconds and you'll be sold.

Aaaaaaaahhhhhh!!!

Chivalry: Medieval Warfare

There's a duel mode in Chivalry now, thanks to the latest update. And boy is it a doozy, or it was while in beta: take a look at Criken2 here, who shows us how to duel like a champion/idiot. For the presidents. You'll even learn advanced tactics, like psyching your enemies out and tricking them into pressing the self-destruct button.

Chivalry: Medieval Warfare

Torn Banner's enjoyable first-person slashing game Chivalry: Medieval Warfare has gotten its first (entirely free!) content update, and it's a doozy. New maps and arenas, new weapons, a control update, and lots of polish and graphical improvements. Heck yeah. This is how you do a content update.

You can see info on the update in the trailer above. The full list is below, via the Chivalry website:

13 New Maps
- Citadel
- Frigid
- Argon's Wall
- And 10 new duel arenas

Chivalry: Medieval Warfare

Get out your swords and shields, today's the day that Chivalry: Medieval Warfare finally comes to Steam. We've been following this game for a while now, and Luke's even spent a good chunk of time playing the beta. I'm really looking forward to seeing how the final game works, and how good the mouse-driven first-person swordplay really is. (Though, as the trailer above is sure to note, you can also play Chivalry in third-person.

Between this and Dishonored, it's been a heck of a month for good first-person swashbuckling. I'm looking forward to digging in to the game and lopping off some heads.
