Sea of Thieves, Rare's piratical multiplayer sailing adventure, has almost reached the end of its year-long Technical Alpha. However, one last testing phase is scheduled before the game launches early next year - and everyone's invited to come aboard.

Rare's Technical Alpha was announced all the way back in December last year, and has slowly expanded its pool of testers from an initial 1,000 to nearly 200,000. For the final testing phase, however, everyone signed up to Sea of Thieves' Insider Programme will be given the opportunity to join in and play early.

If you're interested in a spot of pre-release seafaring, there's still time to sign up to the Insider Programme. The cut-off date for final submissions is December 1st.

Blizzard has given us a brand new, legendary card from the upcoming expansion Kobolds and Catacombs to show off. So, without further ado, here it is.

Meet Temporus, a beefy new seven mana Dragon with an eye-catching card effect.

Hearthstone has never had a card like this before. Taking two turns at once opens up all kinds of possibilities, especially during the mid-to-late game when Temporus would be played.

To the Moon

Oh, To the Moon! What a wonderfully touching exploration of human life, dressed up like simple Japanese role-playing game from '90s, that was. A few hours of game which will stay with me for years.

Now - finally - creator Kan Gao and his very small team at Freebird are ready to release the follow-up...

No, it's not To the Moon 2 really, as the trailer jokingly suggests, and no it doesn't have loot boxes and explosions and alien baddies. That was Kan Gao's cheeky little joke. The real game is Finding Paradise, and it's coming out 14th December on PC and Mac.

Marvel Heroes Omega

More troubling news from the developers of soon to be no more Marvel Heroes: staff at studio Gazillion report they were all let go yesterday - the day before Thanksgiving.

Not only that, the developers report Marvel Heroes, a Marvel-themed free-to-play Diablo-style game for PC and consoles, will shut down tomorrow, Friday 24th November. The note on the Marvel Heroes website says the game will go dark on 31st December 2017.

MassivelyOP said it had seen a termination letter written by Gazillion CEO Dave Dohrmann, which claims "banking creditors have effectively pulled the plug on the company, leading to the termination of almost every employee at the studio and the apparent renege of benefits including accrued PTO [paid time off]".

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus

A note from the editor: Jelly Deals is a deals site launched by our parent company, Gamer Network, with a mission to find the best bargains out there. Look out for the Jelly Deals roundup of reduced-price games and kit every Saturday on Eurogamer.

Update 8:39 pm: The cheap get cheaper. Amazon UK's Black Friday offers have now gone live and in amongst the bounty of deals is a boxed PC copy of Wolfenstein 2 for only 16.49. You can also find copies of The Evil Within 2 for 20.99 on consoles.

Original post: Perhaps it was inevitable that Bethesda's latest release - Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus - would see a discount this Black Friday. Given the company's track record this year of releasing games and discounting them mere weeks after launch, both Prey and The Evil Within 2 have been through this and now it's BJ Blazkowicz's turn.

Ever sign up to a new internet service provider off the back of some eye-catching advertisement that suggests you'll get blistering download speeds, only to find in reality, most of the time you get nothing close to the advertised figure?

A major change to the way broadband speed claims are advertised is set to arrive in the UK, and it should make broadband speed adverts much more realistic.

The change forces internet service providers to more accurately advertise the broadband speed customers will get.

CD Projekt has announced that Thronebreaker, its upcoming single-player story campaign for Witcher spin-off collectible card game Gwent, has been delayed into 2018.

Thronebreaker tells the almost-certainly-bloodthirsty tale of Meve, a war-veteran queen of two Northern Realms, who embarks "on a dark journey of destruction and revenge" as an imminent foreign invasion looms. It's set in a previously unseen part of the Witcher world, and features quests, resource gathering, and custom-made story battles. Thronebreaker was originally due to arrive before the end of 2017.

In a post on the official Gwent website, CD Projekt Red co-founder Marcin Iwiński blamed the delay on the campaign's increased scope, saying that the developer simply needed more time to work on it. "Shifting release windows is always something we approach seriously," he said, "however, we'll never hesitate to do it if we feel you'll get a better game as a result. I would like to apologize [to] everyone who planned to play Thronebreaker over the Holidays - I assure you that we will do our best to make the final game worth the additional wait."

ARK: Survival Evolved

Studio Wildcard has announced that Ark: Survival Evolved's next full-scale, paid-for expansion Aberration will release on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on December 12th.

Aberration, which was originally slated to release in October, is the second paid-for expansion to come to Ark, following last year's desert-themed Scorched Earth.

Its main feature is a new, horror-tinged map, set on an inhospitable, malfunctioning Ark - which, for those not in the know, are basically [MILD SPOILER] giant, floating space zoos run by some very naughty aliens [/MILD SPOILER].
