Updates to Darwinia have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The specific changes include:
Darwinia
- Grenade effect changed
- Fix graphical overruns for languages
- Toned down spirit effect
- Pixel Shader option is now split into three levels: disabled, partial and full
- Game cursor is now anti-aliased
- Toned down the explosion effect a little so that it's easier to see what's going on
- The game will now properly move on to the world map after finishing the prologue
- The new default resolution is automatically set to the desktop resolution
- The game will now pause properly when not in focus, instead of catching up at high speed

- Difficulty setting added to Other options menu:
- Ranges from 1 (easy) to 10 (hard)
- Higher difficulties increase the number, speed and health of enemies
- Play on difficulty 10 and experience Darwinia On Steroids!
- Fixed problem where saving a game with Squaddies in transport would cause a crash on subsequent level load (InstantSquaddies bug)
- Updated German language translation
