Silo 2 - Nevercenter
This is a minor update which replaces click-to-confirm error notifications with a small corner message.

When we previously posted this update, it contained a bug which caused a crash on startup for some users. If you experience that same issue with this new build, please let us know right away.

Happy Modeling!

This is a minor update which fixes annoying error popups. They now appear as small messages in the corner which do not require a click. Apologies for the annoyance, and happy modeling!

Edit: due to a startup crash for some users, we've reverted this build for now. Please see the comments for how to help us track down this bug, if you're interested in helping.

Just a heads up, the 50% off launch sale celebrating our 2.5 release ends later today (in about 20 hours as of this posting). Happy modeling!

Silo 2 - Nevercenter
This is a minor update with the following changes:
- FBX loading speed improvements and bug fixes.
- Fixed blank white screen bug for some users.
- Enabled standard Windows 10 scaling for high-DPI monitors. (This scales appropriately to system settings but may appear blurry.)
- May also correct high-DPI scaling on Mac.

Silo 2.5 is here! This new version includes a ton of key improvements, including expanded file format support (Fbx and Collada/Dae), an all-new modern look and feel, and loads of usability improvements and bug fixes.

Here’s a list of what's new:
-Collada and FBX format support (import and export).
-Completely updated, modern, cleaner interface styling.
-Simplified Button Settings editor for easier custom setup design.
-Updated drawing code with in-app anti-aliasing setting.
-Added menu item to reveal custom primitives folder.
-Custom primitives folder can now include nested directories.
-Newly loaded files are now automatically framed in the viewport.
-New presets for color settings.
-Updated presets for mouse settings.
-Various other interface streamlining and improvements.
-Fixed bug some users experienced with selection when anti-aliasing was enabled.
-FACT file import/export bug fixes.
-STL file import/export bug fixes
-Fixed some tools reverting to the wrong manipulator
-Fixed some manipulators allowing incorrect selections
-Many error messages moved to pop-ups to make it more apparent when something goes wrong.
-Images always saved with correct extension even when missing from file name entered.
-Improved many error messages for clarity.
-Moved to 64-bit-only on Windows, greatly reducing crashes.
-Added menu item to reveal preferences folder.
-Object properties window now always shows shape properties (in addition to component properties).
-Texture seam display is now per-object.
-Texture seams can now be marked using highlighted edges.
-Cleaned up internal code.
-New app icon.
-Lots of other minor fixes.

Platform notes:
We've had to discontinue 32-bit Windows support in order to continue development. Likewise, Linux is no longer in active development, but 2.3 should still be available for both. If for any reason you wish to revert to Silo 2.3, there is a beta branch available called "silo_2.3" which should contain everything as it was before the update. Our apologies to those affected.

Thanks, and happy modeling!
