Whats New:
  • All levels have had their lighting changed and improved.
  • Included Black Hole and Radiation power ups back to Chaos mode but not Control mode.
  • Updated title menu background images to reflect changes in each level's lighting.
  • Updated some navigation meshes

Fixes:
  • Corrected a bug where the game would spike the cpu and crash the game.
  • Corrected a bug where if both players choose Gizmo in Chaos mode, player two would not receive points.
  • Removed physics interpolation for all rigid body assets to reduce performance hit due to a bug inside the Unity Engine.
  • Improved Ai algorithm for capturing flags.
  • Corrected a bug where two Clips on the same level would cause a frame drop.

Whats New:
  • Added new Control Mode
    Control mode has several new features not seen in MiniBotz before. This includes challenging AI, and capturing spawn points!
  • Added more music tracks.
  • Added the ability of the game to choose a random music track when the previous one is finished.
  • Expanded the size of all play levels so now more area is available to play in!
  • Added new texture sets to specific objects in the game. Can all the hidden easter eggs be found?

Fixes:
  • Removed the ability of the player to rotate their bot when the game is paused.
  • Updated and re-baked all navmeshes in all levels. (How the AI knows where to move)
  • Optimized and corrected targeting for enemies.
  • Several stability fixes. The rate that the game crashes to desktop or freezes should be now significantly reduced.
  • Corrected some typos in the menu system text fields.

  • Added random music selection when playing in a game mode.
  • Moved menu navigation controls to the d-pad to provide a more consistent experience for the user when selecting menu items.
  • Seamless music transitions between game screens.
  • Character jumps are more powerful, go higher and more consistent.

There may be some slight stability issues with the Blackhole power up.

Whats New:
  • Added the boss Timmy, Destroyer of Average-sized cities. He spawns every 1 million points.
  • Implemented new UI/UX system. (AKA New Menu)
  • Opened up the floor area on the couch level.
  • Separated the score for each player in Chaos mode. Each player now has their own score pool. Highest score wins and gets added on local leaderboard if they score high enough.

Fixes:
  • Added a collider to the towel rack in the bathroom level to prevent farming.

Whats New:
  • Created a new power up system so that all power ups are now modular.

Fixes:
  • Corrected a bug where players were not receiving damage from falling on the floor in the Couch, Table, Kitchen, and Bedroom levels.
  • Corrected a bug where the player would be teleported if they enter a small corner behind the toilet next to the bathtub in the bathroom level.
  • Corrected a bug where players could run around indefinitely on the floor without being respawned or taking damage.
  • Corrected a bug where if a player jumps into a black hole with a shield still enabled, they can leave the black hole with no shield but still be invincible to all damage indefinitely.

Post PAX Update
If you have been keeping up with MiniBotz updates you will notice that a lot has changed, we have added a new enemy and condensed Gummy Bears and Cockroaches into one gamemode.

Fixes:
  • Reduced BoomCube damage.
  • Reduced difficulty scaling effect on enemies in Survival mode.
  • Improved pathfinding for enemies when a bot is in the air by jumping.

Whats New:
  • Added new enemy type, BoomCubez!
  • Added scaling difficulty to Survival mode.
  • New Bot, Carmine!
  • Added new revive mechanic.

Changes:
  • Removed enemy select from Survival mode.
  • Changed Survival mode so that all enemies appear in the mode at once in wave patterns.
  • Controls have been improved.
  • Adjusted stat numbers for botz and enemies.
