Hope everyone is having a happy holiday right now!

I wanted to share an article that I wrote for Gamasutra, "Controlling Two Things at Once in Soft Body." I get asked about this aspect of the game fairly frequently so I tried my best to make the article thorough. Overall, I think does good job explaining the my design decisions.

I hope you find it interesting!

Best,
Zeke

You're in for a treat! It's the beginning of a NEW AGE and new levels.

Type "666" while on the title menu and discover 7 brand new levels. This is brand new content with new obstacles, enemies, and absolutely ZERO projectiles. I hope you all enjoy!

Happy Halloween!

‘Bullet hell’? No thank you. I think hell is unpleasant. But a bullet chillout zone? I’d check that out on the way to the bullet hackey sack field after picking up a bullet bubble tea. Soft Body [official site] is… not a shoot ‘em up, because you don’t shoot, but it is a bit of a bullet hell. At times. In places. Controlling two paintsnakes, one on each analogue stick, players dodge waves of bullets as they shove and nudge and paint things. It’s a interesting-looking game, and one just launched today.

Hey everyone!

I am going to be showing Soft Body at two events in early December.

On December 5th and 6th, Soft Body will have a booth at Playstation Experience 2015. It should be pretty awesome. A lot of great games will be there, there will be some cool announcements, and it looks like Playstation is hosting a Capcom Cup for Street Fighter 5 (omg!!!!)

I will also be demoing the game at the Whippering Indie Cup on Thursday, December 10th. I have some extra tickets for this event, so if you are in the Bay area and want to go, reply to this post!

I'm close to finishing the game and super excited to share it all with you in the near future. This game is a lot bigger and more polished than I ever imagined -- I think you will all be pleased. If you're interested in getting a sneak peak at the game and you live in the bay area, I hope you will be able to make it out to one of these events.

Cheers!

Zeke
