Note: Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64-based Systems (KB3201845) appears to resolve the issue stated below. Make sure to check your Windows 10 updates, if you are having issues.
It has come to our attention that a recent Windows 10 update has introduced instability in a subset of our plug-ins and may cause SONAR or other Windows DAWs to crash. The problem is related to a change in the timing for thread initialization on Windows, which leads to intermittent crashing on project load, plug-in scanning, or adding these plug-ins to a project. We are able to reproduce the issue and it appears to only affect some systems since it is timing related.
We are actively working on a resolution and will release fixes to the affected plugins as soon as possible.
Plug-ins that may be affected:
We appreciate your patience while we work to resolve this issue,
A bug with long arpeggio MIDI files causing drawing errors has been fixed

Steam Specific Changes:
SteamReg Updated Last week we identified an issue that could impact new users registering or existing users reinstalling Z3ta+2, and the application would stay in Demo Mode. This issue has now been fixed.
Updated the Demo to latest version of Z3TA+ 2
The prior Z3TA+2 2.2.2 Update is available to rollback to if users encounter any issues.
To Rollback: 1. Right-click ‘Z3TA+ 2’ in the Steam Client and select Properties 2. Go to the Beta Tab 3. Select Early-Access 4. Click [OK] and allow Steam to update.
All existing users will need to run Z3ta+2 standalone once after the update to activate Z3ta+2.2.2. Unlike 2.1, 2.2 will register both 32/64-bit plugins at the same time. Make sure to say [YES] to any Windows UAC administrator prompts. If you don't see the registration prompt, make sure you relaunch STEAM as administrator and turn off any anti-virus applications.

2.2.16 - 6:30EST - We just pushed out a quick hotfix this afternoon that addressed one issue. The registry keys for VST3 linking had a slight typo. If you're having problems linking the VST3 version of Z3ta+ 2 with our plugin linker applet, run a re-verify of the application cache.
We've posted a new update for the STEAM version of Z3TA+2
Added the STEAM Plugin Manager, which is also bundled with Rapture Pro and Cakewalk Sound Center. This allows a user to link plugins in the STEAM managed directory, back to their system global vst folder.
Changed the order of launch options. Now 64-bit will be listed first on compatible systems. This should help resolve some of the issues Music Creator 7 users have, since the default MC7 option is 64-bit.
Plug-in .dll's were previously under a '64bit' and '32bit' subfolder in the 'Vstplugins/Z3TA+ 2' or 'x64/Vstplugins/Z3TA+2' folders. They have been removed from these subfolders and now just live in their respective 'Z3TA+2' folder.
STEAM install script cleanup. x86 users will now only have the native x86 version. Previously, users would have both x86 and x64 on their system, regardless of compatibility.
And if you haven't picked up Z3TA+ 2 yet, you can get it for 66% off.
