Please be aware that you may be disconnected from London Based (LON) Ace of Spades servers for 1-2 minutes between the hours of 8:00 and 9:00am on Thursday 19th December 2013. This is to allow for our Network Engineers to make some necessary adjustments at the London Datacentre.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. If for any reason you need to contact us, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org for help.
Votekick Update Votekick has been tweaked to try and reduce abuse of the feature.
Any player can initiate a votekick, however, now only players on the same team as the player subject to a kick vote can vote on whether they should be removed from the game or not. This should still allow players who are griefing their team mates or obviously abusing a glitch to be kicked whilst making it harder for players who are simply good at the game to be booted out.
The function keys for voting yes or no have been changed. F1 is now "No" and F2 "Yes".
The host of a custom game can kick any player from their game. However, this only applies to the original host for the game, if that host leaves this privilege will be lost!
The host of a custom match cannot be targeted to be kicked from the match.
In VIP mode if the VIP is kicked, for any reason, another VIP should be selected from the remaining members of their team.

The lobby provides a chat box, and allows the host to dictate who is able to join the game, and remove who they want. As the host you can also set all the game settings from here, with the chat box providing a way to discuss the next setup. From the lobby the host can also predefine who's on which team, which of course is great for team games or clan matches, and allows you to ensure that you and your buddies are on the same team. Once ready the host will start the game.
These allow you to define the following:
Privacy of the Game
This section allows you to augment and customise the rules of the selected game mode. These include, but are not limited to:

Alter a Selection of Spawn Settings

Hopefully this gives you all some insight into what's coming in the next few weeks. Look out for more details about this update, and information on further future updates.
