Hey there, Puppyfans!

Give Us Your Filthy Cash!
So... you want to play something like Revenge of the Titans, but multiplayer in a massive persistent online world, I hear? I have just the game for you... Battledroid.

Progress has been made, and all sorts of shiny things have been added - but there is still so much more to do and I can only work on it in the few hours of an evening I get after work. Behold:

That's right, I have a real job doing something sucky, and I only get to work on Battledroid in my spare time which is why it's taking so long.

If only we had more funding, I could develop this game a whole lot quicker.
We only need a paltry pledge of just $1 a month from 5000 fans to make this happen.

So, we finally made Titan Attacks for Android a thing.

It is here. And it is free, if you can stand ads, so there's no excuse not to have it on your phone!*

If you can't stand ads you can give Google a couple of bucks to make them go away, but only weirdos do that.

* Unless you are one of those strange Apple types, in which case, you will have to wait a few more days before we get the iOS one out...

We have accidentally boxed hundreds of deadly battledroids in festive wrapping, ready for shipping to little orphaned children! Please send in a Z001 Infiltration robot to destroy them all before they're posted. Think of the children!

This special Christmas game mode appears only over the festive season - play it while it's there!

A lot of players of Revenge of the Titans might never have found out that we kept on updating it for years after it was first released. One fine winter's day we added a special secret Yeti Attack mode, that appears around Christmas time, and disappears in the new year. Now's your chance to play it! It's active right now.

Hey everybody! Alli's original full-length album of electronic blasting music is now available from the Steam store as DLC for Ultratron. Hardcore music for hardcore people.

You can get a preview here (or even buy it direct).

Music on Steam now downloads into your Steam library underneath the game installation folder. Once it's there Steam can play it for you with the new Music library feature - or you can copy it out into your normal music folders.

So, I thought I'd put this out there to Revenge of the Titans fans:

The Puppygames Patreon

A surprisingly large number of players have asked us about a multiplayer version of Revenge of the Titans. The problem is that when you start solving the individual problems in multiplayer with the game design, you gradually end up, bit by bit, inventing a completely different game.

Battledroid is that game.

We've already spent over a year on Battledroid but we don't have the funds to finish it - it's going to take us another year. If you'd like to help us out making Battledroid, please spare a buck or two for us every month.

Battledroid is a free game and will always be totally free.

The prolific PlayStation porting team at Curve has announced it's bringing yet more PC games over to Sony's systems, in the form of Titan Invasion for PlayStation 4, PS3, and Vita. It's actually a double-pack, containing Puppy Games' arcade shooter Titan Attacks! and its tower defense/RTS sequel Revenge of the Titans.

The Humble Puppy Bundle sounds… I really don’t know. Puppies are cute, so good. But a bundle of them, all at once? I can’t take on that much responsibility! Oh, and dogs are rubbish! Fortunately this is a Humble Weekly Bundle from Puppygames, consisting of the UK developer’s entire catalogue. And no actual baby animals. Which means you can pay what you want for Ultratron, Droid Assault, Titan Attacks and the very excellent Revenge Of The Titans, plus a bunch of soundtracks, and give a bundle of money to GamesAid. Oh, and the best video ever, featuring Ian Livingston!

We've just released the latest incarnation of Titan Attacks. This version has a very slightly different difficulty curve which you'll chiefly notice past level 100. Believe it or not we actually had people wrapping the game so often their score caused an integer overflow! So now it'll be a bit harder to get those crazy points - the game genuinely gets seriously challenging past level 100.

Also we should now support Big Picture Mode fully - have a go with your 360 controller. You should be able to enter hiscores etc. just using the controller, and so forth. If you've got any feedback about the controller in Big Picture Mode we'd love to hear it.
