Aside from Chapter 6, I've been working quite a lot on sound recently. I recently acquired a sweet pair of headphones and discovered that the sound needed some TLC. So expect a lot of sound tweaking in the coming updates. Everybody loves sound tweaks!

On the Chapter 6 front, progress has been solid and we've just finished building a very difficult portion of the game. Over the next week Erik will start building the last two sections of the game and I'll be trying to keep up implementing everything.

Short version: Still quite a lot to do. Not yet ready to set a date.

Dear dreamers,

This has been another month were we pretty single-minded worked on Chapter 6. It's shaping up nicely, but it is still too early to set a release date. Time estimations isn't our forte, and we'd rather be fashionably coy than annoyingly wrong. We hope you understand.

The contents of this patch is mostly aimed at fixing a few issues that the walking speed increase introduced. There might still be some in the game, but they shouldn't be showstopping.

Fellow dreamers,

This month we've almost exclusively worked on Chapter 6. We managed to build a lot of what proved to be a pretty difficult suite of environments. We wanted a very particular look for a certain portion of Chapter 6 and achieving that proved tricky. I wish I could talk more about it, but I really want you to experience it without prior knowledge. I look forward to hearing what you have to say when you finally see it. Personally, I think it's absolutely spectacular.

I did manage to address a few minor issues. Most importantly, I increased Victor's default walking speed. If you don't like it – or if you want him to walk even faster – there's a new option in the Settings menu for you to play with.

A new month means a new volley of delicious tweaks. This time we've mostly focused on two problem areas that still haunted Chapter 5: The lake in Selma's dream and the void between dreams. Some of you have reported problems that this update aims to fix.

Aside from these spicy tweaks, we've been plenty busy working on Chapter 6, which is shaping up nicely. We hope to have more news about that for you in a month or two.

Since last month, we made a Steam page for Chapter 6. It contains some new screenshots that you might not have seen yet. Obviously, if you're spoiler-sensitive you might want to stay away.

Since the last update we've been busy working on the last puzzle sequence in the game. It has a lot of moving parts and I expect us to be working on it for a few more months. We don't have a date for Chapter 6 yet, but we'll tell you as soon as we know. While you're waiting, you'll be happy to know that we done another polishing pass on the already released chapters. That's how we roll.

Some players have reported problems entering the door to the right of the void between Martin's and Selma's dream. I've tried to fix it, but since I can't replicate the bug myself I have no idea if it worked or not. If you were having problems, this update might fix it. If it doesn't, I added a temporary quick & dirty solution to help you out: click the right entrance 3 times. That should hopefully force the transportation.

After a rather drab winter full of cold, rain, slush, snow, introversion, self-destructive drinking habits, fever dreams, hot soups, cozy family holidays, revisits to old games, binge watching of TV-series, book reading, layer dressing, extra radiators, long johns, casual spooning and frantic mistletoe make-out sessions, we're slowly approaching the end of Chapter 6.

Right now we're about knee deep in the last puzzle sequence. It's pretty extensive as you might imagine. Once that's done we also have a few closing sections to work on, before we push this bad boy into earnest testing. So the release of Chapter 6 is still some ways off.

While taking a break from Chapter 6, I decided to push a fairly meaty update live to ensure the game is running smoothly for y'all. It fixes and improves a lot of things, but I think my favorite is that the safe door now displays correctly when you look at it through the basement window. For no good reason, that's always bothered me and I finally did something about it.

So cheers for me, for being useful.

Another month, another update!

I hope y'all survived February – the bleakest and grayest of months (at least for those of us on the northern hemisphere). Both Erik and I survived, which is fortunate since we still have another chapter to finish. Right now we're working on the last big puzzle sequence in the game. It's fairly involved, with lots of moving parts. But once that's done, we'll be on the home stretch. We're not ready to give any dates yet, since historically our release estimations have been off by a mile or two.

I couldn't go back to sleep so I figured I might as well use the time productively and push an update live. It's not super meaty, since we've mainly been busy working on Chapter 6. I've been trying to get rid of that annoying crash on start-up bug that happens on PC sometimes, but I haven't quite nailed it yet. It still happens - but hopefully less frequently.

The last few design bits on Chapter 6 have started to fall into place, and Erik has begun building some of the last sets. Once they're a little bit further along, we'll start implementing. I wish I could tell you more, but you wouldn't thank me if I did.

Hot off the heels of the new year, we decided to upload a new volley of tweaks! Like a little software firework, resplendent and delightful.

Right now, we're designing the last third of Chapter 6. There's still a lot of work to do on it for sure, but progress is picking up. We don't have a release date yet, but we'll tell you once the dust settles.
