Left 4 Dead 2 Update Released

Updates to Left 4 Dead 2 have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major changes include:

Left 4 Dead 2

• Fixed performance problem when rendering lots of decals, notably when fighting tanks with shotguns
  
• Fixed rcon response not working on Linux dedicated servers
  
• Fixed matchmaking problem matching into Advanced and Expert games
  
• Fix bug that would cause other specials to try to pummel a player a Charger disconnects or reconnects
  
• Fixed versus mode results panel being cut off in transition stats screen in non-english
  
• Found games: fixed non-player entries drawing the wrong type of icon in the selected item name label
  
• Game mode selector on main menu now takes keyboard input

Shattered Horizon Update Released

Updates to Shattered Horizon have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major changes include:

Update 1.0.2.3

• Controls: Each grenade type can now be assigned to a separate quick-select key.
  
• Controls: "Roll left" and "Roll right" can now be assigned to individual keys. You can also adjust the roll speed when using keys.
  
• Controls: Help screens and FPS-counter controls can now be bound to different keys in the controls menu.
  
• Controls: Added mouse wheel support to controls.
  
• Graphics: The color of the EMP lightning effect on players and the gun has been changed from blue to white to reduce team confusion when MCC (yellow) players are EMPed. The EMP particle effect however is still blue and will be changed in a future update.
  
• In-game chat: When typing a message, a history of all in-game chat will appear. The text will disappear automatically after a short time.
  
• Fixed: Firing weapon in silent running mode now plays the correct muffled audio.
  
• Fixed: Rare bug that caused rendering to freeze while the game continued running.
  
• Fixed: Ocassional issue that resulted in a player spawning into a level with too much speed.
  
• Fixed: Issue where shadows could initialize incorrectly, causing aliased sharp edges.
  
• Fixed: Issue where in-game chat lines could appear on top of each other.
  
• Fixed: Bug that allowed in-game chat to be used while in silent running mode.
