Updates to X2: The Threat have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The specific changes include:

- Added UPLINK facility to export your game statistics to a file which can then be uplinked to the Egosoft.com servers for display and comparison
- Improvements to codec handling have been back-ported from X3 to minimize the number of people who have problems with this
