Good game lol. 10/10 can run on my 2009 laptop xD

its fun and good for people

I've played this game since 2012 (not on steam) and the game was soooo great! The game is lacking as of 2016 but it still is a really good game. here are the pros and cons:

Pros:
-you can make a lot of friends here
-great game to play with family members
-good game for horrible computers
-free to play, no money needed
-adventerous, good luck having your life sucked away in this great game

Cons
-lots of grinding to max a character out
-the game doesn't have much players as when it did in 2012 (it could die)
-difficult game to understand, with all the items and equips you can choose from
and more




This is just a small list i made but i really think you should go play the game, go give it a try with a few friends/family members, you will have fun.

Peanut Butter is good with jelly. Spiral Knights is good with friends

i love this game buuuuuuuuuuut its losing players they should make a daily reward or something go check out button mash's video he makes more sense but other games get players for rewards NOT DAILY MISSIONS
and this game does have a community on youtube like solotron/serjinxable chawkthree and im sure they want it to be better to so please um sega no three rings no grey havens i think just fix it

IMHO this game would've been much much better if the developers focused just a little more on the lore. They instead just give the community some repetitive events every once in a while, which surprisingly have success among the players actually (because most of them just like to farm the ♥♥♥♥ out of these events). Sadly developers think this is enough to make this fun. I'll have to admit, in the couple of years that I played SK i had a hell lotta fun and I met some good friends. Thing is, the devs left the lore behind and once you finish the main missions you're left with pretty much no clues about what's going on. It leaves you with the feel that this is obviously not the end. I've waited long enough to see the end and, dissapointed, I came to the conclusion that I sadly already saw it, and the story won't be worked more.

Game was suprisingly fun for awhile.
Good multi-player and time waster when you need something to do.
I got sucked into it for awhile and if you do any DLC purchases you can get trading card drops for badge crafting.

Spiral Knights! Lets talk about the elephant in the room. You will find it extremely if not impossible to advance in this game without either investing 1000's of hours of game play or Real Money. That being said, its a very fun game with friends. The energy deals are fair but still easily used quickly making you need to buy another soon after. Plan accordingly and you'll save yourself tons of money.

The game works like a downward progressing dungeon. each level a bit more difficult than the last. At a point you'll find a boss battle awaiting you for greater rewards. As expected the lower the tiers the greater the rewards. Grouping with friends is always the best option for you. Soloing is possible but only with over powered gear. Unless you're some kinda god at this game or have an infinite supply of money to spend on ever increasing personal revive costs you will hit a wall of progression eventually.

The server populations are always full , auction houses full of things you need but a tad pricey for somethings, This is where you can find getting lucky with cosmetic items that sell for insane prices that could fund your PVE adventures.

Currencies in the game are Crowns and Crystal energy. Crown are used to buy Items from the AH and select vendors. While Crystal Energy is used to Upgrade gear, purchase passage to each tier of dungeon, revive yourself or friendly players, and unlock doors while mid dungeon for random loot.

The game play is skill based as in you need to avoid incoming damage with a limited way to restore Health. If lucky you'll find health potions as drops through out the dungeon but not always. Its best to plan for none dropping.

The classes very. Its more what you prefer to play. If you want to use bombs, swords , guns. or a varying combo. The game gives you plenty of ways to see what is available as weapons but if you want to play a more quality build research will be required.

The game has a very cartoon'y look. But the game play even with the childish look is fun and would be a shame to over look if you and your friends are looking for a new group game to play. But hold off on spending money until you spend some good time playing it and truly know its worth spending the money.
