personally i like this game, because of the co-op, but since GamesSpy closed down in 2013 this is no longer possible. therefore i can not advise anyone to buy this game, unless someone makes a fix.

I really wanted to like this game but with it just comes off as really uninteresting and slow. I admit, I've spent very little time with this game but every time I try it, I can barely get past the tutorial. The graphics are very dated, and though skills and things look fun, trying to play this with a mouse and keyboard seems like they didn't really want it played that way.

sorry but i can't recommend this game to anyone. i tried it 2 years ago (2012) and again now. the game is extremely linear. the graphics leave something to be desired. the camera angles seem forced. the mouse/keyboard controls are not good. please don't waste your time and money on this game.

Like most people already wrote, i really can support theier views.
It's the most broken/buggy game i tried since a long time(tried it on release, and now gave it a chance again). Many graphic glitches, crashes, sometimes broken quests etc..
Also generally this game is very unbalanced/linear and get's boring very quick.

If I were in an alternate universe and Dungeons and Dragons: Daggerdale were actually a meal I ordered out of Jack in the Box circa 1992, this would be my review:

It tastes like it has bugs in it with a noticable amount of bugs, oh and a glaze of buggery bugness with a side of this game is the ♥♥♥♥tiest game I have ever played.

This game is a rip off even during a summer sale. It's just terrible, bland, and has always suffered from major bugs.

Can't play with just a keyboard. Not sure if it's just me or not but the game only works with a xbox controller? Also I can't raise the resolution to 1920x1080 so not sure again but to have these problems right off the bat.. not to mention online multiplayer is discontinued. Even though I got this for cheap to me it's unplayable so unless I invested in googling for the answer. Therefore as protest I will not bother and I will accept that this game is crap. Thank you and good day.

No online multiplayer... Uses defunct GameSpy network. No key binding customization at all. Had to edit ini file to get proper resolution. Sadly, it coule be a great game, but I'll never know due to these issues.

To start their website Is DOWN. So currentlly Its impossible to register to actually play online co-op.
So you ask, "then whats the point of getting it?" To that I answer Single Player.
The story line Isnt' all that great the graphics arent' that great. The controls are pretty decent, kinda wish the GUI was a bit more asthetically appealing. Theres the classic races to pick from, four only sadly and no option to switch between genders. You get what you get. Male warrior, male dwarf, a priest If I recall correctly and a female archer. Archer being my favorite, already off to a bad start, the customization Is.. decent? You only get to pick the basics, height, hair style and I believe theres about only two more options? The sprites for dropped items conssist of only three-four icons. Oh! I forgot the fighting! Its terrible.. There are different classes of enemys which Is always a good thing but their spawn locations are much too close to eachother. If youre like me you like having distance between you and what you'r target, In this case you HAVE to know where the spawn locations are or you eventually get overwhelmed.

This game had so much promise, but unfixed bugs and a severe lack of support from the developers and designers left it to rot very early on. ::extra large sad face::
