The best Ghostbusters III I have ever played/watched...

Buy this game instead of the new 2016 Ghostbusters Twin-Stick shooter, 10/10 BUSTIN' MAKES ME FEEL GOOD!

The only problem I have with this game is that it is too short... but I'll probably replay this game a lot.

+Good enviromental destruction for a 7 year old game
+Unique ghostbusting gameplay
+Have the cast reprising their roles
+Detailed level
-Sometimes gets repetitive
-Not enough ghostbusting and too much generic shooting
-No replay value

Only reccomends if you're a Ghostbusters fan or have lots of money to blow.

The true Ghostbusters 3 with the true cast. None of that gender equality BS that Paul Feig and Sony crapped out and called it a movie. Buy this game and don't watch the reboot when it comes out.

Stock up on a ton of Hi-C Ecto Cooler and pay less than the price of admission to see the True Ghostbusters III also known as a great licensed game. A fitting end to the trilogy before the reboot screws it up like Powerpuff Girls 2016.

For fans of the series YOU could say this is ghostbusters 3.
With full original cast and great plot It was a pleasure to play until I became bored of the extreme repetition BUT like I said the fans will dig this!

The game has little to no replay value, no multiplayer, is relatively short, and has repetitive gameplay. What it does right is capture what made the original movies so great. I think the only way you're going to like the game is if you're a fan of the movies. But if you are a fan of the movies the nostalgia is going to hit hard. They've faithfully recreated locations from the original films including the firehouse. All of the main cast from Ghostbusters 1 & 2 return except for Sigourney Weaver and Rick Moranis.

Do I think this game is worth the full price of $10? Not really because you can complete the entire game in about 10-12 hours. There are no bonus modes to unlock so you're basically getting one playthough and that's it. But if I'm given the choice between $10 for this game or $10 to see Female Ghostbusters I'd pick this. At least this game is funny and well written.

This is the perfect game for a ghostbusters fan. The plot is good. The voice acting superb and funny. The atmosphere at times is downright creepy. bottom line I recommend it.

Such a classic game for such a classic film. Highly recommend if you like Ghostbusters and wish that they made a sequel to it. P.S. the new Ghostbusters film is going to suck.

Ever wanted Ghostbusters 3 to be a thing but also wanted to be a ghostbuster yourself?
Well here ya go.

Ghostbusters: The Videogame really is great, but only because of the Ghostbusters coat of paint. You run around and reel in ghosts and shoot at generic spookies which would be kinda boring if you didn't do it in the whole 'Bustin getup with your sweet lil' proton pack and the other Gostbusters in tow. One of the best things about this game is that the voice acting is done, for the most part, by the original actors (Murray, Aykroyd, Ramis, Hudson, etc.)
All I'm saying is: if you like Ghostbusters, consider buying this game. If you don't like Ghostbusters, then why are you here, broh.
Ok let's look at the important stuff:

Plot:

Ok so there's ghosts and things but the important part is that it's written by Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis

Gameplay:
-An essential thing to note is that you, throughout the course of the game, unlock four different proton stream things, each serving a different purpose and each having a special attack or ability.
-The enemies tend to either be destructible objects brought to life or just straight up ghosts. The ghosts tend to be the most difficult as they need to be captured.
-You have access to a half life physics gun stream that is used to wrangle ghosts, solve puzzles, and move debris.

Graphics:

-Is good, looks good
-the proton pack is filled with detail which is ♥♥♥♥ing great

ok now that that's out of the way let's talk about the pros and cons

Pros:
-It's Ghostbusters
-But not the new Ghostbusters
-As in it's the original one with Bill Murray and that one guy whos last name is spelled weird
-somewhat above average gameplay
-excellent graphics that still hold up (for the most part)

Cons:
-several of the boss fights feel underwhelming
-occasional lag discharge

My final verdict is that this game is great, even though it's a movie game.
I'll give it a neat ol' 8/10

If you're a fan of the Ghostbusters films (the originals anyway), this game is a must play! It brings back Dan Aykroyd and (the late) Harold Ramis to write the script, for one thing, and another, the original ghost busters (plus a few other characters) return to voice their respective roles!

You play as "The Recruit" an otherwise nameless character who is just trying out to be a Ghostbuster. I sort of wish there was a co-op with this game, but that said, you do get to play alongside the other awesome ghostbusters almost at all times, so I guess I can't really complain.

The gameplay is fairly simple, and they teach you how to do everything well enough. The look and feel of the game certainly matches the films, so they nailed that. You'll also find the trademark Ghostbusters humor intact. It's a genuinely funny game, while also delivering a few creepy moments, before bringing you back to chuckle again.

There are many easter eggs throughout the game that fans will appreciate, from a nametag of a certain character on a wall, to a large painting that talks to you, and if you've seen Ghostbusters 2, you know which one I'm talking about.

Another cool thing is you get to visit some iconic places from the film, beside the Ghostbusters' Firehouse, which you can freely walk around in and check things out, you get to go to the Sedgwick Hotel from the first film, among others.

Overall, this game feels like the Ghostbusters 3 we all hoped we'd get, but now sadly never will. The humor, the look, the cast is all here in true form. You'll laugh, you'll cheer and maybe get a bit spooked, but you'll have a great time doing it all.

I highly recommend it for anyone, fan or not, to check out! I promise you'll come away with a smile...and maybe a ghost or two as well.

No issues running the game on Windows 10, for me atleast.

Runs great at 60 FPS with my GTX 970, 3570K CPU and Win 10.

Also great voice acting from the "real" ghostbusters.

Theres not much to be said none of the other reviews haven't already said about how awesome this game is. The only real problem I have with it is that we did not get the Multiplayer component of the game on PC like the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game came with. I loved the multiplayer on 360 and really wish it was brought over to this version of the game as well.

It's probably the greatest movie-licensed video game of all time. Seriously. Maybe this and Rockstar's "The Warriors."

As a big, big fan of "Ghostbusters" (it's my favourite movie franchise along with "Back to the Future") I find that it is so, so faithful to the movies and it is so carefully crafted you can just tell a lot of heart went into making this game.

All of the guys are back: Venkman, Spengler, Stantz and Zeddemore including the original actors from the first two movies. It has a story that was ACTUALLY written by the folks at Terminal Reality, but with edits from Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis (they also wrote "Ghostbusters").

It is a game that came out in 2009 but have recently found myself getting sprung back into it due to the new "Ghostbusters" reboot... which I will attempt to draw back judgement on... for now, at least.

The game is "Ghostbusters III" in every sense of the word. Talks of "Gozer the Gozerian," Dana Barrett, the "Terror Dogs," "Stay Puft" and so so many more references from the first two movies (oh, also including "Vigo the Carpathian" (the paranormal portrait from the second movie) in the firehouse).

The gameplay is so fun too! Some people may say it is repetitive, but what else could you expect? I couldn't tell you because I'm pretty happy with it.

I remember when I was 9 or 10 years younger I dreamt of either a "Ghostbusters III" or a video game that was a continuation of the canon "Ghostbusters" universe. I got my wish, luckily too, because the movie and the game were in development hell for years. I followed rumours of the game when it was trying to find funding and publishers -- even the publishing was a bit shaky too.

It's important to mention how hard it was to convince Bill Murray to come back as he has always been reluctant to do another "Ghostbusters" product since the second movie.

You must get this game. It's so spectacular! Oh, sorry, I said that to some effect already didn't I?

Atari treated the PC version like garbage however. They refused to release the multiplayer on the PC (I also initially bought this on the PS3 when it first released, the multiplayer was really fun). That is the only drawback to it BUT as you can see, I'd pretty much rate this game a solid, fun-packed, ghostbustin' video game that fans of "Ghostbusters" will love and people who may not even be into "Ghostbusters" that much will love too!

So yeah, go get it because "bustin' makes me feel good!".

R.I.P. Harold Ramis a.k.a. Dr. Egon Spengler.
