The thing with Grand Strategy games is that it's very hard not to exploit the flaws once you find them. In this game, it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ AI and helicopters. Here is why:
Tanks and artillery cannot attack air units, so they are screwed. Infantry and anti-aircrafters can attack only at one block range, therefore helicopters just have be at a two block distance before they attack, so infantry and anti-aircraft are screwed. The only challenge are enemy helicopters, but since AI is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and don't know how to retreat, you can just simply gang up on them, so they're screwed.
In the world map using a single helicopter you can one by one wipe out pretty much all small enemy forces and then surround the big ones. The ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ AI then will split them the next turn in order to attack the territories around it, and since you can almost always retreat, the enemy just exposes itself doing no damage, and after that you can just helicopter them again. Rinse and repeat.
Of course, you could raise the difficulty by playing as Luxenbourg with no resources on hard, though in my opinion that's artificial difficulty, but if you're into that sort of psychotic grinding, go nuts, otherwise unless you're completely unfamiliar with Grand Strategy genre, you would find this game a bit too easy.
Also, there some other things to complain. The loading takes more time than to format a hard disk drive. Sometimes I get this weird static noise, that overtakes everything else. Troop animations are kinda clunky and unpolished, for instance, if you move a tank over a hill, it gets swallowed by it. Sometimes after battle the button that makes you go back to the world map freezes, which induces some pleasant ragequits.
In conclusion, even though this game is so appallingly broken, I still find it kinda interesting, and since it's quite cheap, it's worth trying out.
