There is no other game like it. I have gone back to Naval Warfare about four times and each time I played it, my playtime ended with the game being unistalled. Look at my playtime. 0.4 hours. ITS THAT BAD. PROS
-The animations actually look decent.
-The game really doesnt look that
-The voice acting is terrible.
-The controls defys all logic (will get to this later)
-The art in the game is just average.
-The music is just average.
-Framerate issues make game sluggish. (may just be for me but I had framerate issues on a laptop and a desktop)
-Aiming is sluggish. (will get to this later)
-TERRIBLE slowdown on any game menu
-DUMBEST INVISIBLE ( sort of ) WALL EVER (will get to this later)
-Glitches upon glitches
-No online multiplayer ( I really didnt care if it had multiplayer or not, but I know other players wanted online multiplayer for whatever reason.)
-Combat is no where near fun, just slow and anoying. (will explain more later) CONTROLS
I have tried both a keyboard and Xbox 360 controller and both just feel sluggish.
I can totally see what the developers where trying to do but the keys W A S and D just dont work. AIMING
The crosshairs is just horrible. Its so slow and once again sluggish. Whenever I move it, it lags so bad on both my Desktop and laptop. INVISIBLE WALL
This was just too dumb to leave out. The Invisible wall is a huge straight blue line with dots on it like a quadrant grid. May not bother some but I felt it was too stupid to not mention. COMBAT
The combat is just slow and unfun. It makes it more difficult when the aiming is atrocious. One of the funniest and stupidest moments came from the combat though. When I was playing through, I came across an enemy that fliped over onto its BACK in the water. During that time, you could not damage the ship. After it flips back over you can shoot at is for a small amount of time. it only stays there for less than 2 seconds so it makes it very annoying to have to wait to destroy the ship. VERY VERY VERY minor detail but I HATE it.
While the game had only a few average aspects about it, the whole game is just
The whole game feels sluggish and unpolished. Like its an early access game.
Some people bought it for $3, and some got it for $0.50. I was lucky enough to get it for $0.24 during a sale. Do I feel like that was a waste of money?
Would I ever gift this to a friend as a joke?
NEVER. Its so bad, no one else should expirence it.
It took four different playthroughs and 2 different reviews but here it is -- Naval Warfare gets a 2/10
At least its not as bad as Uriel's Chasm.
