About This Game

Defy Gravity is an action platformer that is a mix between classic platforming and gravity based puzzle solving. Kara, our heroine, has access to a unique gameplay mechanic that she uses to manipulate the world around her. She has a gun that is able to alter the laws of physics through the creation of pockets of gravity and anti-gravity. By mastering the use of these abilities Kara is able to augment her jump in order to almost fly past obstacles. These powers can also be utilized to move objects that block her path and platforms that Kara stands on in order to traverse the levels.

I almost spent 2 hours on last chapter by passing the credits. It took great skill to walk the mileline Credits. You are genious Paul Fisch. You could place the credits after the puzzles or spawn me after them when i die , but that would require basic thought :@

The only game I've ever got all the achievements in.
Fun, cheap and I actually profited from selling the cards. Very short, but when you're paying $0.50, well worth it.

Altering Gravity is nothing new, however altering it with those Gravity Wells is somewhat new, and unexplored.
So the concept is great. But you only NEED to use the Wells in the last few levels, the rest is almost completely possible without them.
Another big issue I had was the limit of the Wells. You can only have to Wells at a time, with one being normal-, and the other anti-gravity. They don't have a timelimit so that's nice, but I would much rather have unlimited Wells with a timelimit than two infinite Wells.

But it's only one dollar, so if you feel like playing a little platformer pick this up.

The game is actually one of my favourite puzzle games atm, due to it's unique gameplay mechanics, it'll give you from 2-4 hours of gameplay depending on how long it takes you to finish the challenges. It is however somewhat difficult at parts adding more thought process and skill are added into the equation to create a fantastic gameplay experience! I'm very glad that I bought this. I would buy this on or off sale (i bought it during a sale).
The only downside is the music :/ made me question my sanity...

An interesting concept, a nice platforming challenge, good music. Worth the miniscule cost when on sale. however, it isn't very polished. In particular, the hitboxes are terrible, making difficult sections ridiculous.

It's a really short but kinda fun game, considering the price though the length is pretty fine. But as an experienced player of Platformers I gotta say this game is way too easy. Once i figured out how to properly control all the gravity wells I started getting bored. Since I knew how to control the wells after a while i got through the "Hard mode" even faster than through the normal mode.. I guess it'd be more fun if you were worse at games like this. I'd still recomend it when its on sale, or not, it's cheap anyways.

I haven't played much yet, I have just had it running in background. Today I decided to actually try and play the game. Not too difficult to learn how to move the character around with the grav and anti grav beam/shot things. Seems like a fun platformer, and from the other reviews is quite short. Nice if you like the sense of achievement that comes with finishing a game! I give it 7/10

I bought this game for 2 rubles. Then this game dropped 3 steam-cards. Sold them for 2 rubles each. So +4 rubles. Gaben thx for easy money! I am rich now!

Pros:
•Amazing concept.
•Fast paced gameplay.
•Difficult gameplay.

Cons:
•The graphics are disgusting, they need to hire a new artist.
•The game although getting incresingly harder becomes a bit repetitive.

Over all, I would say it is above average.
This game has sales very often so don't buy it at full price.
