This is hands down the best RTS ever made.
Pros:
- 1000s of units
- Simulated projectiles can hit other things. (I've seen an anti-air turret shoot down a nuke)
- Bubble shields
- MASSIVE experimental units
- Explosions
- Massive scale, the battleships feel impressive next to the smaller T1 units
- Scaling economy, you don't "buy" units like in SCII or a lot of other RTS games, you build them, draining your resources over the course of their construction time
- 1000s of units

Cons:
- The unit movement is a bit weird sometimes
- If you're reading this review you probably don't own the game yet, luckily this con is easily fixable

Be me
master of playing with infinite resources
Trying to play with friends
2 nobby 4 me
2 of my friends are trying to fight the bots
let them kill most of the bots
they ask why i'm not helping
respond with horrible excuse
"Trying to build up air force"
whole air force is just scout planes
build nukes
more nukes
more nukes
they manage to kill last AI
tell them they are horrible at the game
break alliance
"Strategic Launch Detected" x24
they begin freaking out tryin' to kill me
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
nukes hit their base
game freezes
alt tab
come back to a sight of utter destruction
nothing left of their bases
tell them:
"Looks like this is a Supreme Commander...
...
Fried Alliance"
puts on sunglasses (⌐□_□)
11/10 would betray everybody again

Game overall is awesome to say the least. You know,
  • Lotsa explosions!
  • Giant robots!
  • Small robots!
  • Exploding robots!
  • Fatboy The Battleship Tank Factory!
  • Monkeylord The Sneaky Git With Da Lazer Shoota!
  • Yolona-Oss The Rapidly Reloading Partybringer!
  • Czar The Heaviest Thing That Can Ever Fall On Your Head!
  • Mavor The Prove Of Cowardice!
  • And some more giant objects!
  • Tiny Tanks that are not yellow for some strange reason!
  • Exploding versions of all of them!
  • Flying rockets!
  • Exploding rockets!
  • Nuclear missile-bombs!
  • Sick nuclear explosions that lack only an equally sick guitar solo by Mister Torgue!
  • Flying aircraft!
  • Exploding and crashing aircraft!
  • Artillery that goes BOOM!!!
  • Mobile artilery that goes poof BOOM!!!
  • Tactical missiles that are all going "Caaarnival dayo!" from cruisers in all of your infrastructure worth 5k of sheer explosion damage each! I hate them!!!
  • Volatile generators that can cause a chain reaction and cause even more explosions!
  • One particular experimental bomb(okay, okay, flying aircraft carrier, shush!) that can bury a slightly damaged commander under itself, causing two huge explosions!
  • Thousands of entities that are causing even more explosions at the same time making your videocard fry itself on a imaginary pan!
  • Did I mention explosions yet?!
Now it's up to you whether you want to buy it or not. Mister Torgue would approve the everliving s**t out of this game, and so do I!

A lil' bit of campaign spoiler, without names. If you're Cybran fan and like one particular commander since SupCom... Brace yourself, Operation Meltdown is gonna be a rough one for ya. It sure as hell was for me, and it sure as nuclear hell was for one particular commander in Operation Mind Games.

Also, if you suddenly will see lack of ppl in matchmaking, look up Forged Alliance Forever, community-based almost standalone game upgrade with its own hub-lobby-thingie that only requires base game. It can also be pirated, but it must be certain version and as clean as possible, so buying the game is lotsa easier.
