SpaceChem is a fun game. It's essentially a stylized programming language masquerading as a video game. But despite that it's extremely fun to play and also fun to optimize your "code".

that being said, I find that it isn't designed well for fitting on screens, and since that's how most people play video games, this is a problem. Furthermore, I tried the fullscreen mode and it was way too far zoomed in, so I could only see a small portion of the content. What's worse is that the portion I can see doesn't include the option to leave fullscreen. so now I'm stuck with an unplayable SpaceChem. This is a real shame because I really do enjoy the game.

This game is too mind blaging! It takes a good person at puzzles to get they heads around it! I simply can’t think! One could feature about this game is, you can upload your walkthroughs straight to YouTube, once you’ve completed the puzzle, it will give you a choice to either upload video to YouTube!

I thought I was smart and creative, and SpaceChem showed me that I was a fool who could induce a simple molecular bond on a rail. I took my TF2 promotional items and left, weeping, knowing I was too stupid for this game.

This game is not about chemistry, its about programing, procedures, and analitic thinking
very similar to the flash game "light-bot"

you have to use the provided commands, to move arround "atoms" to get the requested output
very fun. very addictive. totally worth every cent

Oh my, what a game... I DO recommend.
Ok, it is more a puzzle than a game. Like abstract games are a specific category for boardgames, you know? In the end, a bit like Myst games are into videogaming. I love Myst, by the way. So be careful, and don't expect crazy HUD, action and all. It is a Puzzle.
But my... great music (although not enough variety), nice drawings (outer maps), hard boss, very, very easy to learn (tutorial a tad confusing, though), but MAN very, very HARD to progress! The curve is not straight, I'm telling you. I finished the five or six first worlds (planets), and damn have I been stuck for MONTHS! But I'll play that game anytime if I have new ideas (I refuse to look at the walkthroughs or clues).
Great, great, great, game.

Very fun, great for older computers and casual gamers who enjoy challenges. Not for people who dislike using their brains

One of the absolute best puzzle games ever made.
The "engineering" feel of it may intimidate some players, but that's part of what I love about it.
If in doubt try the demo, but do try it before dismissing it, it's brilliant.
