Although the game reminds me of Crash Bandicoot, it certainly doesn't play like Crash Bandicoot. Either there was something wrong with my computer but the game played terribly. With no graphical options to speak of (no even resolution), the game played slow and clunky. it felt like i had lag the entire time. played with a HD 7750, which runs most games like Mirror's Edge on medium. But not this game for some odd reason.

Ancients of Ooga is a charming little action game that has it's own unique character and gameplay innovations. For this type of title, the controller support is welcome, and the Steam Overlay is supported. Unfortunately, the game does not have any fullscreen mode, so users on a widescreen will be limited to a 1280x1024 window in the middle of the screen. That limitation aside though, the Ancients of Ooga is definitely a solid purchase for any gamers interested in casual action gaming.

Bacon Wrapped Games delivers another awesome adventure platform game… But this time it’s even better than “Cloning Clyde”, I really don’t know how these guys do such a good job at making good looking, well animated and highly interesting games… Basically, the object of the game is to collect bits and bobs throughout various levels and of course save your ‘ooga’ friends… It’s really hard to describe why this was an engaging game, but it provided me with more hours of entertainment than I could have expected from the title… I have no problem recommending this at all as it’s perfect for some casual and humorous gaming fun.

I love this game :D

Very light-hearted and even the title-screen brings a smile to my face.

The gameplay could have used some more attention to make it feel more fluid, but the way it is, it fits nicely in the game world.

This is a solid game with an interesting story that can be enjoyed by all types of gamers. The graphics also show that much effort went into the production.
