New Expansion - E.Y.E Blood Games

E.Y.E: Blood Games takes you into player competitions with new and varied maps.

Battle Royal:

In this round by round competition, the last man standing wins. All other participants are enemies!
You start each round with a random weapon and armor. Your aim is to finish the game with the most possible points.
You get points when you kill an enemy and also, when you are the survivor of the round.
You are free to use one of your existing Avatar, including one from the solo.
Some of your PSI and cyber powers are deactivated in this game mode.

Team Artifact:

Team competition: In this mode, Jians confront Culters for the artifact control. To do that you need to:
  • Take the artifact and carry it to the enemy area.
If the artifact is in the enemy area, the round ends. A new one will start and players will return to their initial positions.
Each team starts with an amount of resurectors. You win the round when the other team runs out of resurectors. There are several ways to do it:
  • Carrying the artifact to the enemy area.
  • Killing an enemy.
  • Hacking special interfaces.
At the beginning of the game, choose your team and character class.

Informazioni sul gioco

As a member of the strange secret society E.Y.E, you wake up after a fight in which your fellow teammates were killed. E.Y.E, an armed branch of the Secreta Secretorum is attempting a coup against the all-powerful Federation, a coalition of several worlds and planets that rule with an iron fist.
To complicate matters, E.Y.E itself is plagued with its own internal conflicts between the Jian faction and the Culter faction, to which you belong. Your loyalties are torn between Commander Rimanah, your superior and the chief of the Secreta who is a separatist with an unstoppable ambition, and the "Mentor" your friend and instructor. The "Mentor" tries at all costs to unite the two rival factions. In doing so, you are thrust into the middle of a fratricidal war frought with political conspiracies and quests for power in which different groups and megacorporations are implicated.
These troubles set the stage for an attack by an unknown force bent on destroying humankind.

Key features:

  • Multiplayer co-op modes directly influence solo play, and vice-versa. The limits of solo and multiplayer games are finally left behind.
  • Psychological and mental trauma management.
  • 25 weapons, different shooting modes, dynamic precision, drilling shots, iron sighting, extended zoom.
  • Complete hacking system with game play impact
  • 9 devastatingly subtle PSI powers.
  • More than 20 NPC with non-scripted, fully reactive and efficient AI, endowed with a sense of initiative. Bloody close combat with technical detail. Incredible physical movement realism thanks to Source Engine physics.
  • Excellent replayability - primary and secondary missions, dynamic environments, non-linear level progression, and random NPC spawn, type and appearance. Death doesn't penalize players: no need to restart the current mission.
  • Open-level gameplay for hours of fun without reloading.

"Here is where you come into play. You are an undercover agent for Secreta Secretorum where you must navigate between E.Y.E factions, keeping them at bay and reporting to the Secreta. Your role is to serve the organization's purpose: fight the metastreumonic force and overthrow the Federation.

But you have another problem: you have just shot 4 large caliber bullets into your mentor's head. Why?"

A somewhat odd atmospheric first person game, good luck uncovering the whole story.

The only game in the world where you are the protagonist, antagonist, and your closest friend.

Everyone should play this. If not only to just witness what only the greatest and worst minds can do to a video game.

There really is no other game like EYE.

The concepts, the execution, the multiplayer. It truly stands alone.

Be a heavy, blast your way in. Be a hacker, turn the enemy against themselves. Be a psi, and manipulate the metastreumonic. Blend those and many others however you wish to create your own play style.

I am so happy that I came across this game. It literally personifies everything I love about action-adventure RPG's. A perfect hybrid of modern shooters with an inventory development system, point distribution and augmentation / booster system as a in-game mechanic for maxing one's toon. Using a punishment system where even the most fatal of deaths can make a perma-dip in hardstat, this game forces the player into researching and mastering skills and cybernetics to become a literal God. A glorious hub world, endless skirmish content, a story driven expirience with a dash of sword and board / shootem-up gives me the desire to log back in something serious, sometime soon.

Using the source engine, supporting multiplayer porting and massive explorations Id recommend this game to everyone. Badge and achievement progression for the farmer in all of us. Play this game, and begin the spiral decent into madness when we ask ourselves "When is modifications going to far?"

Not bad on the eyes for the date released, and OMG the replayability. So good.

TL:DR - does not work on windows 10. At least for me.
---
I was looking forward to 2nd playthrough as this game is pretty good and has lot of depth (if it runs).
However, after upgrading my computer and trying to run it on windows 10 has proved impossible.
You will probably be fine if you have an older computer, but I would not recommend this to
anyone with windows 10.

The Gunplay is broken
The Story is obscure
The Stealth is pointless
The UI is awful
The Graphics are lacking
The Co-op is non-existant
The Tutorials are pointless
The Music is choppy
The Psi powers are clumbersome
The Text is way too small

...So to say this is one of the most atmospheric, comprensive, detailed and beautiful creations to grace my PC may sound a little odd. But after only 5 hours of playtime, I am questioning if this is one of the greatest games I've ever played.

When I first read the reviews for this game, I assumed I would end up either playing a barely coherent, glitchy mess that one can only squeeze a mote of enjoyment from due to its inherent jank, or I'd get a barely coherent but functioning game that gets a passing grade only because of how much effort went into it.

Neither of these scenarios ended up being the case. What $2.50 bought me is one of the strangest, deepest FPS RPG hybrids I've ever played, and I've only put 15 hours into it so far. I've dug up inches of dirt in the face of a mountain. On some level, I expected a Deus Ex like experience, and on some level, I got that. I also got Half Life, Ghost in the Shell, Warhammer 40k, and the ocassional feeling of Goldeneye, all while on what seems to be a quest to reach nirvana. This game is everywhere, and somehow it works. There's almost nothing I can say that hasn't been said before.

The story isn't even something I can get into. Without a doubt, everything about this game is something that feels rewarding when the player discovers it, and that's just it - the player has to discover everything. If you came here looking for a game that tells you a story, you've come to the wrong place. You have to beg this game to give you its story, and when it does, it'll give it to you in the form of legends, hearsay, and double talk. The sense things make is the sense you give to it.

The enemy AI is surprisingly intelligent and offers up a challenge not in terms of firepower, but actually acting like humans would in a real firefight. They take meaningful cover and fire back aiming to kill. Think you're about to sneak past someone? You better have found a way to be invisible and make not a sound, or else someone is giong to notice you. Likewise, your AI allies don't suddenly become bumbling morons, but can quickly end up taking out just as many or more enemies than you. Sprinkle friendly fire on top and suddenly everything feels very hectic and realistic.

That's something that really sticks out to me - despite the subject matter, everything feels strangely realistic, while also staying firmly in the uncanny valley. The levels are massive and sparsely populated, but filled in from corner to corner. That being said, it still lacks something... even though it's gritty and grungy and obviously lived in, it doesn't feel "alive". There have been instances where I wanted to stop playing the game because things were getting just a little too uncanny, like the worlds in an N64 game - that kind of feeling. The very dated and strange looking NPC models don't do much to take away from that, but it almost feels like the surrealism is intentional.

And did I say the levels are massive? Supermassive might be a proper term for it. There's FPS games that lead you down a hallway, and there's FPS games with multiple hallways, and then there's E.Y.E. There's what feels like miles of terrain that go almost entirely unused, or connect actually useful areas of a map to each other, adding to the realistic feel, even if it sacrifices convenience in most areas. The best I can equate it to is like going to Wal-Mart to buy bread, and then walking to the tire section. Duh, nothing you came for is going to be there, but there's something nice about knowing that the area is fleshed out enough to have that tire section.

And hey, the more you discover, and the longer you play, the more you'll be looking everywhere but the bread aisle for the bread you so desperately want. You'll make visits to electronics and family planning, hoping for the day that you may find the special bread that they only stock in those departments.

If Cyberpunk is currently your thing and Half-Life's Source Engine has always been your thing: then I think you are probably going to find E.Y.E. Divine Cybermancy to be a very interesting game. If a Cyberpunk, FPS/RPG, with some of the most ♥♥♥♥ed up achievements aren't enough to entice you to play this game, then I don't know what will.

My friend is a really big Cyberpunk fanatic and one day, he started showing me his progress in the game and I have to be honest - the Source Engine was noticable (almost straight away), but I feel like that isn't a bad thing, since it adds unique features, such as: a few RPG Elements (Levelling-Up, Research/Skills and Stats, Purchasing Item...), Psi Force (A variety of mental/phsycic powers: sort of acts as the games Magic system),

Not only is it a Dark Cyberpunk world, but you can get really cool Augmentations/Upgrades for your character! (Enhance your Vital Organs, Limbs, Nerves, Skeleton, Natural Resistence and much, much more).

The GENERAL combat system is what you'd expect from a Source Engine-based game, however; the extra features, selection of weapons, qwerky stat system, Psi Force abilities and the option to enhance your body with augmentions, just makes the combat a lot more vercetile, than any FPS or RPG that I have ever played.

Oh yeah, EXPLODING MELEE WEAPONS - 93/100!

This game is awesome. I'll give a pro/con list

Pros:

- awesome gunplay

- beautiful area design and aesthetic

- many different ways to develop your character

- large and open maps

Cons:

- lacks close quarters maps. most maps are very open, and it means that cqc situations like in half life are pretty rare

- the rpg systems lack punch. you can't REALLY tell the difference between a character with 50 accuracy and a character with 80 accuracy

All in all I'd recommend it. It's pretty cheap, and it's got a lot of replay value
