The co-op mode for this game in unbearable. I played this with one of my friends and we had the best maze possbile with leveled up towers. But guest what! They send either 500 speedy units that you can only kill a few or they said a about 5 giant units with around 10,000,000 hp. I thinking I got this since I upgraded my sniper rifle and the damage ampfing square to the max level doing around 1 million damage per shot. But guest what! There big monsters just laugh at the damage and just go on slowly to your base. There is no stratgeay when all you do is sit there following the monsters shooting at them. I feel like all the towers don't do anything but add a little damage here and there even though they are full upgraded. The anti air towers are the only good towers. I can tell that the multiplayer was meant for 4 players and if you got anything less than that you're going to lose.
The sad thing is your not just going to be killed but your going to be absolutely destroyed. They would kill us and there would still be about 50 more units still alive. To conclude this, I think Orcs Must Die! 2 did the tower defense with fps better. You felt like you could win, you felt like with one more try you could beat the enemy; in this game all I felt like was that the game was just being really cheap and unfair. I just started and the game expected prefection. Although I heard the single player was better. But again, surprise surprise, the levels are so BORING AND LONG. I couldn't recommend this.

Imagine an FPS where you run super slow and clunky. Now imagine having to run around at that slow clunky pace and build large amounts of towers. The lack of an overhead view for building towers became so tedious I stopped at the third level. Could have been good, but it's not. And seriously, the speed of the character's movement needs to be doubled at least.

Tower-defence + First-person shooter = pretty fun.

When I first played this, I made the mistake of treating it like a first person shooter with light elements of tower-defence, and that was a mistake. I got slaughtered. I got annoyed. I thought the game was at fault and I put it down for a long time.

Earlier, today, though, I decided to pick it up again and I found a pleasant surprise: the game is actually pretty awesome. If you strategize before the rounds and prepare properly, you can kick butt. It's actually a tower-defence game with a light FPS element. If you come at it from that perspective, you'll find it's good stuff.

Just, wow. Coffee Stain Studios has created an amazing game by combining the popular First Person Shooter style with Tower Defence, as I'm sure you are aware. With an all-female cast this ought to please those without girlfriends, or girls who think that games need more girls. Anyway, there are plenty of easter eggs hidden around the place, sure you may think that the game is just about placing towers and shooting aliens, but hidden in the easter eggs is a very rich story, as is brought forward in Sanctum 2. I would personally have loved this as an open-world game. Amazing game for people who like Tower Defence or First Person Shooters, or maybe a bit of both!
