Sky-racing, really good one at top of that. Fast packed. Worthy checking out. Similarity to the mario kart, but in the sky. The idea itself is great. Even if not many people are playing it, multiplayer is still active from time to time. It's really fun to catch up and play with human players. The variety of diffrent planes with many advantages and disadvantages is really fun. Balance of those is great also.
About controls of the planes. It's kinda hard at the start, but you get handy of it fastly. Actually those are simple you can boost, you can brake, you can shoot, you can switch or burn weaponry... and well, the movments.
There are three diffrent game modes: speed race, power race and survival. Everyone can find one of those to most capable to play with. DLC adds additional two game modes: deathmatch and teammatch. They allow players for arena-alike fights instead of racing.
The weaponry ain't a big, but getting power ups in the lightboxes and using them is really a good idea. Also, you can level up those once, picking up the same power up again.
There aren't many maps(6+6reversed counterparts), so if you consider yourself as an adventurer sightseering new places in game; this won't be much here. But even if the quantity is low, the quality is great. Terrains are amazingly detailed. Terrains are dynamic too! Oh yeah, this exploding chimney falling down on you. This is one of many amazing parts of the dynamism in this game. You fly through jungle ruins, careen over molten lava, slip past narrow rocky slits, and knife through valleys with a grace that is exceedingly rare for an arcade racer. Oh, also, about the maps- it's full of shortcuts, but to pass such you need really a good flying skill.
Other simple disadvantage is that this game is kind of indie, well, devs don't really work up hard on any anti-cheating engine. That means that, sadly, many of players enraged by a lose on multiplayer games starting to use cheat engines and so.
Musicial part is decent too.
If you can't overtake them- shoot them down
