Return to Castle Wolfenstien has been my favorite game every since I found my dad playing it when I was little. I would sit on his lap and watch him play. I've mastered this game and played custom maps or mods I even played with HD textures. This game has been my one time favorite I used to own it on disk or downloaded I geuss until one day I got this game on steam and now I have played it for a very long time. So I'd recommend you try this game out.

As we know, you can't fight wars alone. Doesn't work with agent Blazkovicz though... Having cleaned up Castle Wolfenstein in 1992 he and the whole game series hunkered down waiting for an opportunity to arise. Their long wait came to an end in 2002 when Nazi invaders had decided to bring the world to it's knees again. This time Allies were ready and had a powerful secret force hiding up in their sleeves - agent Blazkovicz, who blew some dust away from his captured Luger, learned a few new german phrases (like "Frau Mathilde, is this MP-40 effective enough against the undead?"), lost some pounds of pure american weight and went saving the free world.

German war machine and brightest minds of Wehrmacht definitely know their trade pretty well. This time they thought adding some archaeology and occult rituals to the mix might help them usurp the world for good. For agent that fusion means visiting calm and peaceful german villages smelling of beer and sausages, right through eerie crypts and hidden labs. Arsenal is big enough, as it had to be in every early 00s shooter game, having both prototype and well-known weaponry in the list. And almost each type of weapon finds it's use throughout the game. No unnecessary luggage or useless piece of junk. Yes, even Luger.

When our agent was a little kid he apparently enjoyed looking for hidden and concealed spaces and rooms with different kinds of valuables inside! Be that dad's saved cash for beer or big brother's nudie magazines. Same here - keep your eyes peeled and you may find hidden rooms, secret stashes and buttons that lead to all sort of rewards. Don't forget about good work with scripts and well-made direction of everything. I can't remember me being bored at least. Should I mention greatly implemented level design, despite of being a bit mazey, but nicely done anyway. Plus nice voiceover and enjoyable gameplay in general. By the way, the game is pretty short. Remembering myself playing that in 2002 after borrowing friend's pirated version it seemed just huge to me! Well, perception of things changes in time...

Addictive and captivating games are the things that do not change though. No matter what their age is, they still keep you entertained and do not let go until the end.

One of the most fun FPS I have played set in WW2! Yes the graphics are not that great, but what matters is the plot and gameplay. It also has secrets on every level that you can search for that are not a part of the plot. If your interested in The Return to Wolfenstein series get this one before the new one comes out later this year. Put it this way, The Return to Castle Wolfenstein series is right up there with the Doom series in terms of innovative FPS gameplay.
