Just Cause 2 is a 2010 open world action-adventure video Game developed by Avlanche Studios, published by Eidos Interactiveand distributed by Square Enix.

Is split up between freeform exploration including cars and bikes, planes, boats, helicopters and skydiving (with unlimited butt parachutes for paragliding purposes, complements of Uncle Sam) and a little bit more structured missions with objectves that need to be checked off before the mission can proceed towards completion. How you go about these objectives (neutralize targets, rescue VIP's, capture locations or vehicles) is often left up to you, provided you don't stray too far from a designated mission area. Weapons are multitudinous and varied; your standard assault rifles, pistols and submachine guns as well as rocket launchers, grenades, triggered explosives, and the more exotic hookshot weapon which allows you to attach opponents to the ceiling, a vehicle, or each other, as well as move around quickly in both horizontal and vertical movement.

Revolves around Rico Rodriguez, spy and mercenary hired by the US (off the record, of course). Your job: Cause chaos and destruction across the tiny island nation of Panau, whose new president Baby Panay (Yes, seriously) has started to isolate the nation and build up the Panauan military. This has caused the purposely nebulous Agency to be called in, to destabilize the nation and install a puppet for a head of state. It is all utterly ridiculous, stock Bond novel stuff with lots more explosions and thankfully less Bond-babe-bedding. The fact that all of this terrorism carried out in the name of the US turns out to all be because of the newly discovered and massive Panau oil fields, leaves a bad taste in my mouth. All of that blood on your hands, and it was simply to protect national fuel interests.

Better than Just Cause 3.

This review is very late but I just have to say this is a very addictive game I stopped playing but when I think about all the explosions the story the chaos it's just makes me want to play it again I truly recommend this game.

It's a great game, really big.
It's greatly optimized and runs on my 2012 Dell laptop with maxed out graphics and 1600x900 resolution, with a smooth frame rate (don't know exactly but 40+).

Frankly I can't tell if this game is for real or whether its one great big ♥♥♥♥ing joke devised by Activision, but let's start with the basics of why this catastrophically miserable disaster is the biggest piece of ♥♥♥♥ available for purchase on Steam.

First off your primary weapon is grappling hook, they tried to subvert the open world shooter genre by having this be the case, but all it did was subvert in ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ me off!!! Absolute ♥♥♥♥ing train-wreck and your character Vito or whatever his name is thinks he's it but he really isn't. The missions you have to go through are just languorous and have zero reward to them. In one mission after completing it you unlock some crappy jeep. TELL ME, WHY WOULD I WANT A JEEP WHEN I HAVE A ♥♥♥♥ING GRAPPLING HOOK? STUPID GAME, DEVELOPERS WERE OBVIOUSLY NOT THINKING STRAIGHT, OBVIOUSLY ADDED THE GRAPPLING HOOK WHEN THE GAME WAS NEARLY FINISHED AT THE LAST MINUTE.

About the base raids, you simply cannot stealth them. The game invites you to stealth them and silently take out the oil tanks without alerting any guards, but you will never accomplish it. Blowing up the oil tank alert all nearby enemies in the facility and they immediately know your whereabouts and will open fire on you with their 100% accuracy weapons.

Avoid this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game like the god-damn plague! 1/10

This game is amazing, I finally completed the storyline and I have still only finished 28.60% of the overall game after 50 hours of play time! The graphics are good, the gameplay is smooth, the story is fantastic, the voice acting is beautiful, and the one liners are perfect. 10/10 You need this in your life.
