“Final release will have:

  • "Hard" mode levels (must complete story mode to unlock)
  • Artwork of each character with "Story" mode writing

This list is updated as features are completed.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

  • All regular story mode levels are complete, including graphics and sound. Platforming with puzzles!
  • Multiple unlockable characters each with their own special abilities.
  • Procedural ("Chaos Mode") is working for the most part, will crash if things get too complicated for the computer to figure out.
  • Full level editor, able to use custom user-made images and soundtrack.
  • Upload content to Steam Workshop
  • Able to subscribe and play other user's levels from the Steam Workshop
  • Click and drag over placed blocks to "craft" (all schematics viewable in-game)
  • Statistics tracking
  • Steam Achievements

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Early Access price is discounted as the game is not complete yet. Bugs and "features" galore, a user should understand that they are buying into a beta-test version of the game.

Release price will be slightly higher, as the game will be complete and most bugs will be converted into "features" or fixed.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I stream on Twitch.tv (SyKoHPaTh) every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturdays. I test game fixes and do game development on stream. Chat is open for everyone!”

Demo Released!

Demo has been completed and put up for release.

Able to play a special "The Demo" level, as well as 2 selectable characters (second one can be unlocked in the level).

Includes procedural level generator locked at Challenge 10, as well as the world editor (only 2 available tilesets: "demo" and "earth").

Includes the free SBEU Steam Workshop Uploader tool, so any levels you make can be put on the Steam Workshop! However, full game is required to play levels from the Steam Workshop (that's how I getcha to buy the full game!)

The demo is suggested to to try-before-you-buy, to make sure the game can run on your system, and see if it is something you may enjoy. It's free, so please give it a try!

About This Game

What's the result of not quitting a day job and toiling off-hours for 8 years? This hot pile of garbage! Enjoy a mishmash of random ideas that have popped in my head over the past decade, shoved into a 2D-Platforming game!

Play as the heroic Super Bugman, a uhhh blue thing that is completely average and stomp your enemies, or play as other characters (*when you unlock them) who have other abilities!

Well, it's a game! Not your average 2-D side-scroller, jump, pick stuff up, place it down, throw onions, use special abilities, and most importantly solve the platforming puzzles throughout the story mode!. Play through the Story Mode, have fun in Creative Mode, tackle the Procedural generated Chaos levels, and even design your own levels in the level editor. If you beat Story Mode, there are several more "Hard Mode" levels which can be unlocked.
