Om dette indhold

After some tiring, yet enjoyable, days of commandeering an unwilling workforce, Jólnir - the Crimson King - decided to take the day off.

While lounging in his recliner by the fireplace, he fell into the world of dreams. After a rather unpleasant awakening he found himself in a very dangerous place - at the blunt end of a very large club.

Thrown out of his workshop by the very goblins whose blood usually stains his clothes crimson, and his staff nowhere to be seen, he must rely on the wizards to help him reclaim his workshop and his honor.

Key Features

  • A “chilling” new challenge with 20 waves of blizzards and beasts
  • The harsh weather around Jólnir's Workshop is sure to make life difficult for the Wizards attempting to liberate it
  • Shocking new enemies to show you a world of hurt: Autonomous Cannons, Goblin Snow Troopers and the Eismacher
  • Want to get the monsters off your back? Cower behind strategically placed piles of presents and packages... or shoot at them, tearing bystanders apart

Magicka is a fun game where you get to fix 8 different elements either by yourself or with up to 3 friends! The storyline is very well done and includes lots of allusions to famous things such as the sword in the stone ;) stone included! The overall gameplay if fluent as you battle enemies but be careful this game shows how all mage partys aren't neccesarilly the best. I highly recommend this game to anyone who wants a top down game to either play by themselves or with friends.

Every adventure with Magicka has been an entertaining one, provided you have an adventure and haven't played said adventure to death.. Well, too many deaths...

Some of the down sides have been just about no success rate of running it for those of you with intigrated graphics on boards, that's many of you laptop kids out there, the game seeming to be lacking in optimization, witch is odd because it only WAS on PC, and some other various bugs.

However some of those bugs at times can make for another funny situation, you know, the good kind of bugs like what you'd find in some older games that made you laugh your ♥♥♥ off, the dialog written has always been fun "bananers!' and the amount of ways you can kill EVERYTHING can be as expansive and hilarious, including with some of those bug deaths, as making people expand till they inflate and pop harder than a scene in Big Trouble in Little China.

Got a semi decent PC, got seperate GPU's insteadt of intigrated graphics? Very little reason you shouldn't pick it up with friends.

Now if only the Dev team will get away from that PVP only thing they put out and get back to making something with more cooperative questing again just like this. Putting things together like this with a quest with grand gameplay, smart mechanics, and hilarious dialog and nods to other games, like certain swords in stones in the forrest that seems to be the "SWORD OF MASTERS" with ancient text 'that just says jiberish', really was their strong suite.

That dualing game put out that's just pvp, sadly just feels lacking, and a waste of it's more stable engine.

The origional, and it's many cost effective DLC quests and content, just feels so much more worth it. It truly is a game that brings together fans of magical powers together with friends not as heavy into magical powers, and gives everyone a fun time.

Got a relatively decent video card? Get every DLC adventure for this origional fun time you can shake your magical staff at.

Then when in doubt take the Space Robes and shoot people in the face with your semi automatic Bolt Gun, maybe even a Highlander. It's that kind of game, and this is another one of it's kind of quests. And DARE to cross the streams!
