Very funny and challenging but also a little too short and also very buggy, with game crashes if you don't do a room using a exploit :\

Magicka - Only the Stars are Left DLC

This DLC is inspired by themes from horror novels by the author H.P. Lovecraft. It is set 20 years after the original adventure and the player(s) once again have to uncover a mystery in the land of Midgard.

The new campaign contains 3 chapters and takes around 3 - 4 hours to complete. Although "Cthulhu" is a very interesting setting, the story is, in my opinion, not as funny and interesting as the one from the original adventure.

The DLC adds 5 new and interesting magicks and the new enemies feel unique. Especially the bosses are very tough. There are also some puzzels of mixed difficulty (some are easy to solve and others were really hard for me). Additionally there are 5 new achievements and 2 new Robes (Cultist and Detective Robe).

All in all I would have recommended the DLC if it was on sale, but there is a bug, which causes the game to crash to desktop shortly before the last battle and it seems like other people did encounter the same problem. Since the DLC was released in 2011 and the bug was not fixed until now (2015), I don't think it will be fixed in the future. That's why I can't recommend this DLC. Furthermore it is quite expenisive (5.99 USD / €) for what it has to offer.

This game has so much potential but there are huge bugs in the 3rd chapter which prevent you from completing the game. We tried several times and tried different ways but it was no use. Do not buy this DLC, it is kinda wasted money. Very sad, it has so much potential to be a good one.
