About This Game

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO) will expand upon the team-based action gameplay that it pioneered when it was launched 14 years ago.

Welcome to my review of the game, and what I totally think of it.

Community:
What can I say? There are nice people and not so nice people, for me since I'm an European player (from Estonia) then I have to cope up with players from Russian, and I rarely see a singular Estonian player or any of the other players in other country surrounding Estonia - I haven't meet any nice Russians in my game who are funny, respect that I can't speak Russian and will try their best to talk in a language which I can understand just fine. I have also met other nationalists who are also mean, disrespectful and of-course making some ridiculous mom jokes thinking they are funny with it but I've been playing with more Russians than Swedish, Finish, Latvia and as such nationality.

Matchmaking:
I already spoke about the whole community aspect of the game, now you will be reading my opinions in regards to matchmaking, yes Rank doesn't matter, but it also matters in a way - I do not want to be stuck in a rank for months, it becomes annoying since I wanna play with/against better players, I've been putting countless hours into the game and to rank up, I went from MG1 to MGE without a problem, been deranking from MGE to MG2 only once thus far, but every time I see a DMG ranked player, I instantly think that I wanna be this rank already... However let's not get ahead of the main thing, players - I find it very annoying when you que up with me and start to become lazy when I or other players carry you, yes I do the same mistake, but its because I have a bad day, which I can totally understand when you have that too, but I in the other hand can pick up few kills here and there, but you? You can't even do that, and I do that when I have a bad day, and I think there should be a bloody tab where we can check our competitive/matchmaking win/lose rate, current rank, how many MVPS in that game and such...

There are a lot of trolls in matchmaking, if you wanna troll, then go on a bloody Casual server for that, why do we need to put up with your shenanigans entire game? Sure, if you make other people laugh with it, then go ahead, but making it near impossible to play and rage quit? Then you're better off playing Casual, since MM is meant for those who want to play the game competitively and have no need to put up with some children...

Something for Russians: Please understand that if someone can't speak in Russian then you don't have to go around and be little t*at cos they can't understand what you are saying, be mindful and respectful when people ask nicely that "Can you speak in English, so we can communicate and hopefully win" - what does it do when the person mutes you and you can't hear a call out because you're a bittiful and talk in your own language when they asked nicely? Do not disrespect other nationals, you may have bigger country but that doesn't give you a singular reason to be such a d*uche in competitive, and also I would like to note that not every single person who speaks in English is an American, before you do any of that, please educate yourself - every time I hear someone say "Go f*ck yourself American" I'll straightforwardly say "Go educate yourself, is your country that poor that you can't go and study a bloody language" I hate to be toxic and I hate to play with or against toxic people, if you hate them too them do what you were asked for nicely.

Forgot to add that if you play a bloody matchmaking have A damn mic, I don't care where r u from, please have one, and if you talk in Teamspeaks, give a call out so I can hear it too...

Watch:
The tab where you can view your own games, and download those which you have played, okay... Sounds simple right? Yes, however what I hate about this tab that only place you can scroll down is when you have downloaded the demo of your own match (downloads tab), not in a tab of "Your matches" - I think you should be able to scroll down so you can redownload the games where you did the best so you can do videos of it, or something similar to that.

Hackers/cheaters:
There are one of those in every other game, you can't fully stop them, because they will find a way to bypass your anti-hack/cheat no matter how strong the anti-hack/cheat is, only way you can get rid of them bittiful, self-centered and quite pathetic children is by reporting them, even if they have some extreme paid VIP hack then even those aren't 100% protected... Yes we all do greatly wish that Valve should do something better to the anti-cheat than it already is, but you gotta remember that nothing is 100% perfect, and it there was a anti-cheat which was 100% perfect without a bug and a flaws in them, then IDK what then, seriously.

Now, my final opinion about the game: Game is challenging, hard to learn and takes enough time in a day to become something you wanna be... If you want to be an actual pro, then you gotta put so many hours into the game and learn the game to the extreme core, otherwise you wont make anywhere with it... Even you need to download your own matches loss and win, both to learn from mistakes you made to you can be mindful of them for next time you play..

Thanks for reading my dumb review, hopefully you liked it, and I'm extremely sorry if you find any kind of grammar mistakes or as such.

If your looking for a review on this game you've come to the wrong place, but if your looking for an outstanding lemon bars recipe you've come to the right place.

Ingredients:
1) 2 cups Flour
2) 1/2 cup Sugar
3) 1/4 teaspoon Salt
4) 2 sticks (1 Cup) Salted Butter, Cut Into Small Cubes
5) Filling
6) 1-1/2 cup Sugar
7) 1/4 cup Flour
8) 4 whole Large Eggs
9) Zest And Juice Of 4 Medium-sized Lemons
10) Powdered Sugar, For Sifting

Directions:

1. For the crust: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9-by-13-inch pan with butter.

2. Stir together the flour, sugar, and salt. Add the butter to the bowl and use a pastry cutter to cut it all together until the mixture resembles fine crumbs. Press into the prepared pan and bake until golden around the edges, about 20 minutes.

3. For the filling: Stir together the sugar and flour. Crack in the eggs and whisk to combine. Add the lemon zest and juice and mix until combined. Pour over the crust and bake about 20 minutes.

4. Allow to cool in the fridge for a minimum of 2 hours, then sift powdered sugar over the top before cutting into squares.

(Use an 8 x 10 pan if you'd like the layers to be a little thicker.)

Are you struggling to learn a foreign language? Would you like to be able to speak, read and write in that foreign language? THE WAIT IS OVER! Now you can learn the foreign language that you want to learn by playing your favourite game EVER!

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is the best gaming platform for language learners. You can play with "award winning" gamers from all over the world and be able to learn over 9000 languages effectively such as, Russian, Polish, German and even Japanese (everybody speaks English nowadays so who cares about it, right?). You can practice these languages with various players anytime by cursing them in-game and getting instant feedback! Now, isn't that AWESOME!

So what are you still waiting for? Just download Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and start learning your favourite language!

I used to really like this game, but as time passed on so did my interest in it.

I lost the entertainment value this game had, it became very bland. There wasn't any playing the game for fun, as a guy with really no friends to play with, it was solo queue competitive for me. From there, I realized that the games community can be very toxic. and it became less enjoyable to play every day. I started playing less, instead opting to gamble the virtual skins, which techincally can be bought and sold for real money either through the community market or on a third party site. That was the the beginning of the end for me and this game, I started blowing tons of cash on the game, and if wasn't for a friend of mine who told me I really need to stop, I would probably still be doing it.

The two main reasons I cannot recommend this game is:
1. Toxicity:
This really ruined the feeling I had of wanting to actually play the game, for every one nice or chill person I met, there was 10 others who might act okay at first, but if you don't meet their expectations of skill for a match, they unleash their rage and discontent at you because you're risking their online status of how good they are at a video game, their rank. Community servers and third party matchmaking services didn't really help either. Third party matchmaking services were a bust for me, where you had the risk of enraging people even more for risking their rank and making their gametime less fun because of your lack of skill on something they've now paid extra for, for the quality promised from the service, or the risk of playing on a free service where no one really had to care, they could throw and troll and the consequences would be minimal, as it wasn't on official matchmaking.

2. Gambling:
I'm biased here, but this I feel this is a big problem which isn't addressed enough by the developers or the community enough. Everyone reading this probably has a good understanding of the negative effects of gambling, but it should still be said, it's addictive and it's not worth it no matter how much you think it is. Don't fall for the "Free skins" or "Really good odds" trap where they try to trick you into thinking you'll have an easy time of making money quickly.

Overall, I cannot recommend this game anymore, as all I can view from it anymore is toxicity and gambling addictions.

I had a lot of fun some years back in the 2012-2014 reaching the rank of Supreme mostly playing with friends but also as solo. I came back this year to try the game again after some absence from the scene.

WTF has happened?

This game has the worst community possible, it antagonizes the one that LoL has but I guess here things are worse. If you don't speak Russian you are doomed to play in competitive servers with people that don't speak English at all in about 80% of your matches, these guys use the VOIP system to speak Russian even if they are just 2 out the 5 players in your team, their only communication is shooting you or try to kick you if they think you do something wrong.

DON'T GET ME WRONG HERE
I have a lot of Russian friends through other games and they are really nice people.

Apart from the Russians another portion of the community is immature people, they go harsh on teammates, bash them, trolling them and in generally trying to prove something, these disputes in many cases end up with the player being either the attacker or the defender leaving the game or getting banned for friendly fire, about 80% of the times you play you will end up playing a 4vs5 Match (at least in my DMG and LE levels that I played this year). This is a team game, you can't win by yourself but most people don't get it. If you reach a higher level of skill it doesn't mean that you are also a good player in terms of tactics and strategies.

Another negative thing is the 64tick rate servers that the competitive system uses, I believe this is set to allow distant players to have a decent ping and/or to save resources for the servers. This thing ruins the game too, it makes aiming really funny, you will understand If you ever go on a LAN server or play on a 128 tick rate server, this will result into playing a totally different game. The way the rates work now is that the attacking player has always the advantage as prefiring won't leave the defender time to react.

There is huge but in all this:

Are you willing to pay a subscription?
If you have 4 dedicated friends to play the game with I guarantee you that you will have an excellent time if you decide to go play somewhere where you pay to play like ESEA and FACEIT with a better community. There you will find descent people that value their money and are willing to play in a higher level without having to take all this *love* mentioned above.

This review is written in frustration after playing 5 consecutive 4vs5 games only with non englsh-speaking teammates. And this scenario this year doesn't happen for the first time.

Pros
-Cheap

-No pay 2 win

-Fun to play with Friends

-You get drops,so you will most likely get your spent steam wallet money back

-Easy to find an online match

-if you are from Europe, then you will master Russian language after playing this game

-Many community servers options

-A wonderful Esports Scene

Cons

-This game is like cocaine,You will get addicted very soon(not even kidding)

-if you play solo,Then you will get morons 99.9999% of the time

-you will find People who Thinks csgo rank is more important than Life

-This game is filled with cheaters(unplayable at high ranks),Trollers(At low ranks),Smurfs(At average ranks, you will see atleast 1 per game)

-Unbalanced Maps(Ex: Nuke)

-Unbalanced Pistols ( At close range/Medium range A 3100$ Rifle headshot does 89 damage,But a 500$ pistol does insta death)

-if you are a kid/ morons You will use your moms credit card to buy skins or for gambling

-Valve doesnt give a fc uk about this game,There are still the same bugs even after 4 years(ex: Valve DM).They take ages to fix even small bugs

-No Fun modes,This is a Really Really Really serious game

-No unranked matchmaking

-Valve Releases updates to Reduce your game fps instead of reducing bugs

-Prime matchmaking

-Toxic community

1.What is prime matchmaking

you need to reach level 21 in the game(takes atleast a month if you play daily)and must have steam guards(To link your mobile with csgo account) to play prime matchmaking

Prime matchmaking guys will partner/face prime matchmaking guys(so this reduces cheaters/smurfs)

So new players have to play with cheaters/smurfs/morons untill they reach level 21 which is BS

TL;DR : if u have four other friends, this game is for you

if u want to play solo, then you will just be wasting your time

Valve anticheat is really bad,so unplayable at higher ranks

Trollers(At low ranks),Smurfs(At average ranks, you will see atleast 1 per game)

Bonus Tip: Dont do case openings(You will get BS skin 95%) and dont buy skins with real money(dont be stupid)

Vote kicking and cooldowns
I got vote kicked for saving my awp. Got a 30m ban

"30 minutes later"
Team says "Stack A" I go B because i didn't hear them. Vote Kicked 24 hours

"Next day"
Surely this wont happen again. I manage to play 3 competetive matches before a 12 year old says "ahaha Good bye!" And him and his friends vote kick me for 7 days...

Also there is no way to appeal these ♥♥♥♥ing bans and i just got another 7 day ban because i failed to kill someone and they got angry. Please dont get this i would refund it if i could, but i can't

About This Game
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO) will expand upon the team-based action gameplay that it pioneered when it was launched 14 years ago.

CS: GO features new maps, characters, and weapons and delivers updated versions of the classic CS content (de_dust, etc.). In addition, CS: GO will introduce new gameplay modes, matchmaking, leader boards, and more.

"Counter-Strike took the gaming industry by surprise when the unlikely MOD became the most played online PC action game in the world almost immediately after its release in August 1999," said Doug Lombardi at Valve. "For the past 12 years, it has continued to be one of the most-played games in the world, headline competitive gaming tournaments and selling over 25 million units worldwide across the franchise. CS: GO promises to expand on CS' award-winning gameplay and deliver it to gamers on the PC as well as the next gen consoles and the Mac."

Gameplay
The competitive game mode is the main grasp of the game for me. It features close to endless enjoyment and always offers a different experience each time. The game is heavily skill based, and will require some time and effort to get better. There is plenty of guns, all with different recoil patterns. There are many maps in the game, and new ones are added during operations. There are also community maps you can play with friends as well. The other gamemodes to competitive are more casual gamemodes, but are usually not as enjoyable, due to the lack of skill groups meaning you will end up against better or worse opponents to yourself.

Graphics and Optimisation
Graphics are not the main aim of CS:GO. They are nothing special, but are definately improved over previous games. The game is decently optimised, and can run on many machines, even old ones!

Additional Content
The game has microtransactions in the form of weapon skins. They offer no in-game advantage and simply change the appearance of the weapon. They can be bought in the form of cases and keys, bought off the market individually or earned by playing the game as drops. You can sell the weapons and cases you earn from playing the game on the market, equip them for yourself or trade with other players.

10/10 From Me
