Sonic’s universe is thrown into chaos when a mysterious new power comes into force, creating ‘time holes’ which take Sonic and his friends back in time. Whilst there, Sonic runs into some very familiar characters from his past including a younger version of himself! Now they must team up to defeat their enemies, save their friends, and find out who is behind this diabolical deed.

繼Sonic Adventure系列後最佳的Sonic遊戲
同時包含了經典2D和摩登3D兩種遊玩方式
以過去系列作中的經典關卡為主題，重新描繪了新的舞台
精美的內容絕對無愧於20週年紀念作之名

+ 豐富的遊戲內容

18個主要關卡(2D/3D各9個)、90個挑戰關卡、3場宿敵戰、4場boss戰

+ 回歸初衷的主要遊戲方式

不必做奇怪的變身、不必使用特殊的載具或武器，無論2D或3D都是最經典的Sonic玩法!
(當然部分致敬橋段除外)

+ 流暢的遊戲體驗

手殘黨是有福的，本作少有刻意刁難玩家的難處
當然，追求卓越的玩家仍然可以挑戰全S Rank甚至Online排行榜
本作也不像某幾作那樣跑沒幾步就噴金環、毫無速度感可言的遊戲體驗
就是要全程奔跑才叫Sonic啊!

+ 值得紀念的概念原稿和音樂

可以藉由蒐集red ring或通過挑戰關來解鎖
其中包含了歷代經典的原版或remix配樂，以及20年來的草圖、原稿、概念圖
死忠Sonic粉絕對不可錯過

+ MOD

可以改變遊戲人物、背景、甚至遊戲內容!
雖然沒有工作坊，可是還是可以從社群中搜尋到這些有意思的MOD

- 鍵盤按鍵config極難用，務必用手把遊玩

- 無法使用Sonic以外的角色 (不用MOD的話)

- 劇情偏弱

- Online mode選單有個容易CTD的bug

Sonic Generations Review
PROS
-TWO SONICS!!!!
-Classic levels brought back with a modern twist
-Super fast gameplay for both Classic and Modern Sonic
-Great remixes of classic tunes
-Great modding community

CONS
-Collectables
-Bosses are kinda boring
-Omachao
-Skills?
-Ending was meh

OVERALL
A great experience for both veterans of the sonic franchise, and the new people who are just getting into the franchise.
