Acerca deste jogo

Hacker Evolution Duality is the hacking simulation game, developed by exosyphen studios. Based on the successful Hacker Evolution game series, it has been completely redesigned to offer an impressive and new gaming experience.
Hacker Evolution Duality starts in the early days of Brian Spencer when he was nothing more than a brilliant programmer. It than fast forwards to the future, where he has to stop an Artificial Intelligence he has created, unknowingly and take back control of a giant company he once used to own.
You have to hack into computers using various tools, from a basic firewall cracker, to sophisticated voice print authentication systems. Steal money to finance your objectives, buy hardware upgrades or bribe off other hackers that are present in the game. Go as far as bypassing complex security systems to make your way into buildings and steal data. Frame people or even murder them using ingenious traps.
You are not alone in the game. Other hackers controlled by a complex artificial intelligence, will stop at nothing to destroy you.
The game features a single player mode where you follow the game's story and an open world mode, where you play a death match against other hackers.

Key features:

  • Redesigned interface and game play
  • Large open world populated by AI hackers
  • Amazing new graphics, sounds and animations
  • Choice of game play: pursue the game's objectives, or play a never ending and evolving open game.

It's hard to believe that 'I am Bread' or the 'Goat Simulator' will prepare more fun than this piece of rubbish.

I've got this as a gift from a friend, downloaded it, installed it and started to play it.
First impression when I saw the homescreen - is this game really € 20 worth it?
Second impression after I played the tutorial - nope, definitely not. Deinstalled this embarrassing attempt to realease a 'nerdy game' after only 20 minutes.

Seriously, I have no problem with games that won't suprise you with the newest ultra-high-engine-graphic-and-more-stuff, you know what I mean, because I'm rating the action of the game more weighted then it's graphichal occur.
But this game has nothing from both, not a real action which will fascinate you and will keep you playing the game nor a good appearance on the graphical side. The music could increase your enthusiasm of this game when you know the genre acid, you will find some fine fake-TB-303 basslines but the remaining arrangement will hurt your ears and the increasing enthusiasm will drop down nearly to it's previous level. When I clicked on 'Exit' the game freezed and Windows showed up two error messages, the first one is the 'Hacker Evolution Duality has stopped working' and the second one was 'This program has compatibility issues'. Enough said.
The only reason why you should install this game is when you are really really bored, have a good filled pocket/have already all games you want to play and your internet connection is broken for hours.

Just a little hint about the title - when you call these actions 'hacking' then you think you're a hacker when you run a DDOS with a one-click-colorful-one-button-kiddy-style-GUI.

One point nearly scared the hell out of me, you can buy several DLC's for this game and all DLC's together will decrease your bank balance with the horrendous amount of 22,93 euros just to play some more boring levels, music which could be much better, some hardcore (!) levels, textures which won't let you say 'yes, now this game looks a bit more interesting' and a DLC (1,99 €) which will 'teach you how to get a better hacker'.

Just don't waste TWENTY EUROS on 'Hacker Evolution Duality', these twenty euros could be invested in so many better ways, even if you would buy 'I am Bread' or the 'Goat Simulator'.

//Edit: 'TIS-100' is definitely a better simulation, and only costs 6,99 €.

Not worth the price, gets really boring. It did make me feel like a real life hacker...
for 1 hour. I can't recommend this game, way to boring, maybe it's someones type of thing, but not me. Spend your money elsewhere.

Uplink, the 12-year old "hacking simulator", is possibly the finest game of its type yet created. But it is definitely showing its age and I'm not averse to trying something new. On the face of it, Hacker Evolution Duality looks to be an excellent successor to that beloved classic. But first appearances are frequently misleading.

Hacker is not a game; it is a collection of dull and fiddly mini-games. While it has an excellent presentation, the gameplay itself is nothing more than pushing a button at the right time; an uninteresting race against the clock that you need to repeat dozens of times in each mission. It looks great - it has the appearance of Hollywood hacking nailed - but it quickly degenerates into uninteresting repetitiveness. And just to make things even less fun, the controls were stiff and unresponsive; just the thing for a game that demands quick reflexes. Despite its stylish gloss, the game fails to engage on almost every other levels and ultimately is not particularly fun.
