Hitman 2: Silent Assassin provides an estimated duration of ten hours (parameter now average), an in my opinion very addictive, definitely living. Fans would highly recommend it as it is the better of the two chapters on the history of Agent 47 while those new to the saga recommend you try it, maybe at your neighborhood store, to see if the setting menus and commands may be to their liking. If you allow me, a final warning: do not be discouraged, this is a title designed to be extremely difficult, at times slightly frustrating (spend three afternoons trying to accomplish a mission may also get tired!) And then, if you want to play with, arm yourself with a good patience ... good luck, agents 47!

Hitman 2: Silent Assasin is a nice game. It has many enviroments, such as Sicily, Russia, Malaysia, India, Afganistan and Japan.
In 1994, ICA wanted the best assasins to work for their clients. The 640509-040147 coded assasin, called "47", was the best one of them. After the actions which happened in Hitman: Codename 47, 47 was trying to have a peaceful life, when his best friend, a priest called Vittorio in Sicily, was kidnapped by a Russian mob, and he wanted 500,000$ to give Vittorio back. 47 is needed to call ICA to find more information about where Vittorio is captured. In order to gain the information, ICA told 47 that they need to satisfy their customers, such as killing some people, taking cargos, putting bombs, etc. He is a resistent guy, almost unkillable and undetectable. He resists in tough enviroments such as the terrible winters in Russia, the very hot temperature in Afganistan, etc.
You can do the missions on different methods, such as Silent Assasin, Expert, Proffesional, Expert, Executioner, Sociopath, Psychopath, Cleaner, Button-Man, Natural, Ninja Extraordinare, Iceman, Ghost, Shadow, Postal, Slayer, Hired Gun, Sniper, Cut Throat, Hitman, Butcher, Mass Murder, Henchman and Hatchet Man. If you achieve the Silent Assasin on a mission, you will be awarded with a bonus weapon, usually a good one. This game has 3 difficulties: Normal, Expert, Proffesional. If you choose a harder difficulty, you would have less health, less saves, less hints, the guards would be carefullier and there would be more guards. In order to get Silent Assasin, you need to be really carefully at everything. You need to change clothes, depending on the map/area you are on, the gun you are having equipped, to not walk directly in the enemy (you shouldn't look at them when you are walking, also stay as much away from them as you can), don't run when the enemy can see you, also you should crouch when you want to not get heared by the enemies or you want to slowly and quietly go where you need, without getting spotted and the most important: don't use guns/knives, they will accumulate your aggresion bar, so it won't get you the rank. Also, don't get seen too much (when the attention bar is flashing). The soundtrack in this game depends on the enviroment you are (Russia, India, etc.) and the mode you are playing. If you are nearly spotted, a music would start, a pretty shocky one. If you are a mass murder, a powerful music would appear. The graphics are quite fabulous for 2002, because Hitman: Codename 47 was considered a nice game too, but it wasn't bought at all, and Square Enix nearly got bankrupt, so they got ambitious and released Hitman 2: Silent Assasin, 2 years after Hitman: Codename 47 was released.
In conclusion, this is a great game for "stealth" type guys, and not only. You can as as well as playing the whole game on Mass Murder.
I would rate it 90/100. Why 90? Because the stealth system is a bit annoying.
