Why Early Access?

“We want BattleBit to be shaped by our players as well as us. Our players' voice matters during the development phase and we want to work with them. Early Access also helps us gain the funds that is required as we develop the game. Unfortunately, we haven't stocked enough coffee due to the funds. Early access will assist us in doing that.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect to stay in Early Access at least until November.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Currently, the game has several game modes, maps, clothing, weapons etc. We want to improve those throughout the Early Access with constant monthly (if not weekly) updates adding more maps, modes, new vehicles, new weapons and new features.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Our game is nearly complete! We want to use Early Access to our advantage and smooth out our game with player feedback. Currently, you can play TDM and other various game modes and maps with more than 20+ weapons at your disposal. We will also add vehicles, maps, weapons throughout the Early Access!”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We are not sure about the prices and how they will stay after Early Access, we will be looking for our players' feedback for this.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We want our community to actively take part in the development of our game, BattleBit. Our Developers and Community Managers will actively work with our community to shape the game to their liking. After two weeks worth of waiting, the new build is finally here!

[FIXED]

'Apply' button is now functional.
BitLog Mail Bug is fixed.
BitLog adding same friend bug fixed.
Loading bar when you load into the server is synced to what's going on behind the scene.
'Connecting' screen is synced to what's actually happening.
A bug where you can spawn at the enemy's bases is gone, hopefully.
Double spawn fixed.
Double Same Player At Scoreboard fixed.
English.lang has been revised, thanks to our handsome Moderator ErikzWaffle!
Spawning at the end of the map at spawn fixed (probably fixed?)
RPG-7 no longer fires when you're in menus.
Binoculars UI being persistant after switching equipments is no more.
Latency when syncing messages on server side when you die is eliminated.
Rally points (RP) no longer make you fly.
Friendly icon now shows everytime.
Friendly icon now fades.
Terrain impact particles now display properly.
Optics materials re-done.
Scopes now work properly with DeepSky Haze.

VoIP added! Took Oki 10 tries though. 'B' to chat in squad via radio, 'Caps Lock' to chat locally, meaning you can be heard in certain distance radius by anyone.
VoIP indicator included.
New map: Sandy Sunset, 4km² lush hills.
UTF-8 is now supported. This means more characters (and thus languages) support!
You will now see your cursor right after you die.
1 weapon point to start everyone off with at the start of the round (experimental)

Optics now work the same way as the iron sights (hold 'Shift' to zoom).
Bearing compass HUD is now bigger. Lads with lower resolution screens can read properly, finally.
Only one Recon class per squad allowed, from two.
Class points req. are decreased. (Details to be updated)
You can no longer use the Squad Menu when you're swimming or incapcacitated.
TCP timeout is now 60 seconds, so you won't get that pesky 'Connection Lost' screen as much anymore.
Wakistan and Basra have been updated.
New friendly icons on map.

I am happy to announce that BattleBit is now in Open Alpha state, you can join our Discord and ask a moderator to get your Alpha key to play the game on Steam for FREE.

Remember that this will be Alpha version and servers might not be up 24/7.

Key Features in BattleBit

Multiplayer - Fight online in a massive multiplayer environment with your friends or other players. Form a Crew and team up against the enemy in our official defensive and offensive game modes. (Players can play on official or unofficial servers to get into the battle.)

Weapons & Vehicles - Take the battle on foot, to the air or in armored ground vehicles. Rush into battle with unique weapon loadouts that players can customize to their liking by completing objectives to unlock attachments.

Clothing - Customize your soldier's appearance by using our “clothing” options whilst in-game. Each set of upper and lower body cosmetics comes with different protection levels (e.g. “Chest Plate" provides a player with 50% more armor/protection.)

Statistics - One of the most important features included in the game which allows players to view their in-game progress (e.g. Kills, Deaths, Assists, Revives etc.)
