Why Early Access?

“Battle Splash is my solo project, with the aim is to create a multiplayer game that is Fast, Intense and Exciting without any need of violence so that everyone, regardless of ages, can enjoy. The game is nearly completed, with almost every features intended. However, there are still many things that needed to be considered before the final version - from Game Balancing, Graphic Update, Content Update to Optimization and Bug Fixes. Since I want the game to be played in many different ways, and to be Fun, Epic and Friendly as possible, community input is very important. Therefore, Early Access is a perfect opportunity for me to get feedback from the community and to further polish/improve the game with better gameplay and cool new features.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I intended to finish the game in approximately a year or less, as the game is designed to be as balanced and performance friendly as possible. There is also about Modding Supports, Content and Design Direction for this game, which will take a lot of time to develop/consider.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The final release should be more stable and more enjoyable than the Early Access version. Furthermore, new features/content such as Maps and Modes will be featured in the Final Release. Also, modding support will be further improved, so that everyone can make use of as much Battle Splash's features as possible.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version already contains all features in Battle Splash, including all gameplay features, 4 playable maps, 3 different playing modes, etc... The only thing missing is Full Modding supports (as only characters modding support at the moment), which will be released when the game is near completed. In short: it is considered as Stable release, although there might be unforeseen bugs/glitches during gameplay. However, I will make sure that players won't have many issues with every update.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price for the game might change during its development stage. However, I do want to make sure that the game price will be reasonable.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Battle Splash is big for me, so every feedback counts. I'm always happy to listen to any constructive feedback since it provides valuable idea that helps me further improving the game. Please understand that not all feedback will be implemented since there are a lot of constraints for me, but at the very least, I'll read them, and I'd be very appreciated.”

Battle Splash Early Access is now Available


Hi everyone,

Sorry for the long wait. Due to my health problems, the game couldn't be released on Dec 6th as planned. Instead, the game is released today

Aside from addressing many problems in the beta, the game introduces an entire new mechanic called "Weapon module": user can change the behaviour of the gun in realtime.

The game also introduces a new set of weapons along with the Weapon Module, which heavily focus on Splash Damage rather than anything else. This is a "high risk high return" option for everyone who want even more challenge.

Battle Splash Dedicated servers are also up and running for testing this time with the hope of improving gameplay for everyone online. It's still a development feature, thus requires more testing before it's ready to be published as community servers. Feel free to test it, bug report it, and tell me what you think about it.

From this Early Access, any 32bit OS support will be discontinued. I'm so sorry for this change, yet since the game is extending, the 32bit version will cause many trouble for maintaining the game. Thus, please check the Minimum System Requirement for the Early Access version.

The macOS version is currently not supported at the moment.

Battle Splash Final Beta Update (v1.672)

Hello everyone!

I’m happy to announce that the next Update for the game is here that further improves player’s experiences as well as graphics!

The update features a new Networking system that deals with various connection problems and also helps finding low latency hosts (by the distance filter). In addition, it also remixed some AI behaviors that widened the range of difficulty: while Hard and Expert really push players beyond any limits, Weak and Regular should be easier to deal with (but it does not mean it will miss if it sees you standing for too long). The game also came with many graphics options, along with bug fixes and other improvements.

This Update is also the Last Beta Update, and will only be available until November 27th 2017. The game will then be closed, and moved to a different store page (which will be announce later), with all of its content and newest features. It’s still an Early Access title, which means there will be a lot of new things coming, including upgrades, improvements, changes and bug fixes.

As Creator of Battle Splash, I’d like to express my greatest gratitude toward everyone participated in this Open Beta Test! Thank you very much for your supports!

  • Controls: Improved Mouse Sensitivity sections for better aiming (you may have to change it after this update).

  • Graphics: Added more graphics options for better experience on Mid to High-End computer (Color Grading, Ambient Occlusion level, Antialiasing level, etc…).

  • Graphics: Improved global lighting for the entire game.
  • Networking: New Networking that should be more robust and supports more routers.
  • Networking: Servers can now be queried by regions.

  • Performance: Added Video -> FPS Limit (or FPS Cap) for reducing CPU consumptions.

  • Memory: Massively reduced RAM consumptions, fixed some major memory leakages that made the game crash after several hours of playing.
  • Networking: Prevented disconnection when the game temporary not responding.

Trianga's Project: Battle Splash 2.0 (or Battle Splash for short) is a Fast-paced, Competitive, Team-based Third Person Shooter where there is No Killing, No Blood and No Violence.

(Please note that the game will NOT be Free-to-Play, only the Open Beta is Free)

Battle Splash tells a story about Trianga Polyga, who created a Virtual/Augmented Reality system that could simulate real-life experience/environment in an enclosed area, called "Brainwave Oriented Simulation System (or B.O.S.s)". She then wrote "Battle Splash", a game inside B.O.S.s that features high speed Water Balloons and Water simulation in order to create the most intense Squirt Gun Battle ever. She then invited her friend (Temiko Kangara), her cousin (Pentaga Polyga) and her sister (Quadra Polyga) to test the game out. After an unexpected journey due to a bug during the test, she then further improved the game, and made the second version of it: "Battle Splash 2.0".

The game is designed to be as Easy to Play as possible, while still keeps the best features of Classic Arena Shooter and Class-based Shooter. Battle Splash's gameplay heavily relies on Water Splash Mechanic, which changes the shape of the Water explosion depending on the surrounding area. Player takes control of the 4 playable female characters, which represent 4 different Classes, team-up with their friends, and work their way together to become the Winners!
