"KAWAII AF! Also really fun, and cheap! Caerith would like to add that it is a puzzle game with competitive play possible."

About This Game

Critter Crunch is an award winning, arcade-style puzzle game, starring the loveable Biggs. Using his long, sticky tongue to grab critters from vines above, he feeds them to each other until they burst, dropping tasty jewels for him to gobble up. Using Critter Crunch's 'Food Chain' mechanic, players will eat their way through a smorgasbord of levels and gorge on a feast of modes, including Co-op and Versus multiplayer.

Oh, and barf. Rainbow barf!

Key Features:

  • Stunning Visuals: Hand-animated characters and backgrounds come to life in gorgeous 1080p at 60fps.
  • 4 Single-Player modes: Adventure, Puzzle, Challenge and Survival offer something for everyone!
  • 2 Multiplayer Modes: Team up with a friend in Co-op or battle each other in Versus. Both modes are playable online or locally.
  • Addictive puzzle fun: With the unique Food Chain mechanic, players feed smaller critters to larger ones to make them pop! The longer the chain, the larger the reward!

Pros:
- Has multiple game types/modes.
- Has a good amount of content to complete.
- Is a 'real' release (Little or no bugs).
- Allows for alternate/multiple methods to win tasks/puzzles. You can even complete tasks/puzzle with leftover turns/time/bonus items sometimes for more points.
- Uses small amount of resources (As it should).

Cons:
- Has story section at the start of the campaign which is unskippable and have to wait/click through painfully whenever anyone starts new campaign. --

This is not your typical matching game, at all. Lots of challenges and puzzles keep it going with a good adventure mode and lots of new critters to crunch. I must agree with another reviewer, I did enjoy playing this on ps3 with the controller more than here with the mouse, it just doesn't seem to have the same feel. This is a must try game even at full price!

Played five minutes, awful. Deserves to be on mobile as a free game. It's that bad. I mean £5! What the hell! I only got it because it was on a humble bundle. A really basic and dull puzzle game. Nice art style though.

A fun, light hearted puzzle game. Offers a lot of variety until the the end of the ~6.0 hour campaign with a lot of extra challenged and puzzles afterwards too. The game itself has a good mix of strategy and casual gameplay. It's really satisfying to setup the board and then clear the whole thing in one move. Has colorful artwork and a good sense of humor as well.

Cute game. Simple to learn but gets increasingly difficult while introducing new concepts at a steady pace. Plays great with a keyboard but is best with a controller.

This is a disgustingly cute little game. Puzzles where you overfeed animals, causing them to burst, and where you feed your son by vomiting rainbows into his mouth? I liked it - it may not be to everyone's taste. The art style is pretty nice - it's a very easy-on-the-eyes sort of game. :)

A fun, colorful, funny, and bizarre little puzzle game.
You eat and you puke. It's cute, cuddly bulimia.

One of the cutest games I have ever played. The backgrounds of levels are beautiful and sometimes so funny and distracting I found myself not following the game - oops! Enjoyed it very much even though the bonus and challenge levels were a bit too hard at times. The cute animations became too much in the end, where time and quick thinking were of the essence, having to wait for animations to be over to be able to make a new move got annoying.

But I got it cheaply so it was definetely worth the hours of fun :) Has great replay value.

Fantastic puzzle game that keeps you coming back. It's easy to clear a couple of critters but working towards that screen-clearing masterpiece is an insanely rewarding addiction. The visuals are bright and sharp and the music is so vivid that it almost becomes another character in the room. Highly recommended

You are playing as a fuzzy orange and white creature who's object is to over feed insects with other smaller insects until they painfully rupture into gems that you consume and keep as a rainbow coloured goo that you later on puke up to feed your children with..
