This game is quite fun in some places, and excruciatingly painful in some missions.
Pluses: Battle puzzles in which you have 1 turn to defeat all enemies on the board. Really makes you think about how to set up combination moves.
Minuses: Certain missions in the single player campaign simply come down to luck. You can have the best strategy in the world, but you are under a severe time constraint in some missions, and if the initial setup is bad, then you might as well just reset the mission and try for a new initial setup. (Which, thankfully is possible by "retreat" option from menu. Though it costs a bit of resources in some missions)
As far as gameplay, it's match 3, which various bonuses for fusing units, chaining units, gaining extra moves for multi-combo plays. Pretty simple, and yet there is a bit of strategy to try and squeeze the most from your units with the least amount of moves.
Various "Artifacts" also affect the gameplay, and choosing the right artifacts and unit combinations can make or break certain fights.
All in all, an acceptable fun, slightly casual, with a few hair pulling moments game which kept me busy for several days.
If the price is acceptable in your eyes, I'd give it a solid 7/10 buy.
