TimeToDie is a roguelike first-person dungeon crawler that focuses on finding your way around a procedurally generated maze. The hero will find himself trying to escape the dungeon while being drained of his life force. Along the way, he faces hordes of undead and demons.

Why Early Access?

“Considering that TimeToDie is only developed by me lacks feedback. Even though I try to distribute it locally for testing and comments I feel that this would be done easier and better if I expose it to the community. In this way I can ensure that the game will give the most enjoyable experience for the players.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“At this point, it’s hard to estimate how long exactly the Early access will be. I want to be able to get as much feedback and implement the features that I have in mind. I expect the full, final game will be released in either May or June 2018.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“By the time the game will leave the Early Access I expect it to have a Story rather than being just a dungeon crawler, also the as gameplay is polished, more and more content will be added, like items, enemies and dungeon parts. Having said that I plan to have new improved releases every other week while in this early stage.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“At its current state, the game is fully playable with most of its core mechanics implemented but not completely polished. At this point, the game is missing its narrative, there will be more rooms and usable items when the game is complete and also the enemies will have scriptable behavior.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I feel that the people that join the game community early on should pay less since they will be playing an unfinished and unpolished game. They will also help shape the way the final game will play, so I should not charge for full price.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“As I mentioned earlier the community involvement is very important for me so I will be available and take feedback using the steam platform and social media to communicate with the players and share ideas for the future development of the game.”

The Road Ahead. (Early Access Roadmap)

The purpose of this road map is to show what features we are planning to implement until the release of the game.
Also, we hope to get enough feedback and ideas from you to make the game better and more enjoyable!

TimeToDie has been updated with some minor gameplay changes and bug fixes.

About This Game

You regain your consciousness after falling into a hole on the ground. Your only way out is through the cave. You will have to explore the cave and fight your way through waves of people less fortunate than you. White exploring you will learn the story of the place and maybe if you are lucky enough find enough equipment to survive and loot to plunder.
