In this patch we changed a lot of key mechanics of the game.
Changes in battle system:
Now all your damage have one of the following modificators: piercing, crushing, slashing, ice, fire, electricity, poison, holy and dark. This changes gave us an ability to increase role of the immunes. Furthermore, now damage type can be more efficient on some mobs then the other one.
From now some skills require exact type of weapon equipped. And of course they change power based on weapon power.
Equipped weapons now changes not only inventory icon, but 3D model in the character's hands too. This applies to all weapons, except bows, they will be ready in next updates.
New equipment type - shields:
Now Arthur can carry shield in the left hand. Shield gave him additional defense. In next updates we will change their mechanic and make it deeper and interesting.
Changes in tooltips:
Information about skills and items now shows in more beauty and readable way. In additions now you can see final attack damage and modifier from skills and items (counted on single base, without enemy defenses and immunes).
This is the first, but very large and important part of changes in game mechanics and visualization. As ever We will proactively track and correct any bugs that appear. Friends, Double Dice Game Studio is pleased to announce that the developers (wrapped up in warm blankets and in positive mood) are working hard on the game and has almost achieved its ideal quality. Thanks to your support, our warm and cozy game will be in full-fledged release this fall.
