What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Because VR is brand new, and I need to see how players enjoy the levels, which ones are fun, and which ones aren't!”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“2 months”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The EA version has 30 levels. I'm hoping to expand that to at least 50, or possibly create a level designer that allows users to share their own levels!”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is complete and polished up to 30 levels. Vive and Oculus Rift support is complete and polished on day one. All planned and announced features are implemented and polished, from the UI to the gameplay, etc.
It will feel like a complete game, and soon it will have 40 levels, then 50, then I'm planning to work my way up to 100 levels. With the suite of talents I've given my Gnomes, there are endless puzzle possibilities!

Literally the only thing missing or incomplete is the level design beyond level 30.
2D (non-vr) play mode is also coming soon as well.
The game will not launch with a level designer.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Price may double from its current price if I manage to get 100 levels in the game. If I only get up to my initial goal of 50 levels, I don't plan to change the price.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I can't wait to see and hear all of your ideas!

I take feedback seriously and always update and fix things ASAP when I hear about them. I also gladly implement suggestions if I think they are good. I give credit too!
I'm a 1 man show but I really really care!”

Big update for Gnomelings today!

The gnomes now dive headfirst into the portal at the end of each level, and their hats and hair should be more reactive now.
Also, each level has a big board that lets you control everything and your wrist controller sort of functions like a backup.

Please let me know if you find any major or minor bugs with all the new stuff!
I'm going on Vacation for the next week but I can revert to an older build if any game-breaking bugs are discovered!

Happy 4th of July folks! I'm going to the beach.

Gnomelings Migration - Big update!

Hi everyone!
I've published a very big update that gives us cool environments to play in!
Most of the levels now have puzzles in cool cave environments, seascapes, and more.
Also fixed several bugs in gameplay that I've found.

If you are enjoying Gnomelings, please take some time to leave me a review!
I'm a one-man indie dev team and I need all the help I can get!

I also want to ask that any bugs you find, please report them on the community, and any problems with gameplay, please make sure to post them there as well.
Additionally, if you have any ideas or any features you want to see in Gnomelings: Migration, please just ask! I'd be happy to take your ideas into consderation.
Thanks everyone!
Love, Dano

Reviews

“good fun also for kids as a more advanced game - five stars! Well done ...my kids are looking for more levels :-)”
5 stars – Ocili_HeiHeiLaiKa

“I've had a lot of fun circumventing the gnomes talent for death-by-incompetence through the use of rube goldbergian tools and my 'magic' touch. At this price, the game is a great deal and I can't wait to keep playing the increasingly complex levels.”
5 stars – avatizer

“A really nice game. Reminds me of lemmings, which is great. The game works great in VR, the graphics are really nice and it is very addictive. Also, the price is right. Grab it while you can!”
5 stars – kgian76
