Why Early Access?

“As the goal is to make a fast paced VR shooter with full locomotive control and not shy away from the thrills VR can bring I need to get the balance of comfort just right which feedback from a community can bring.

Player feedback will also help get the difficulty balance right for the full release.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Approx 10-12 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I intend to have 10 levels in the full version which will include more weapons, enemies and bosses.
I hope to add voice over banter for the full release that will add more context to the games proceedings.

Graphical enhancements will continually be added throughout development and maintaining a smooth 90 fps will be a priority due to the nature of the game.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“At the moment there is a tutorial and 4 complete levels with 2 bosses. There is also a global leaderboard to get your name on.
Content release dates:
9th May 2017 - Early access release with tutorial and 2 levels with 1 boss.
7th Jun - SloMo ability introduced.
30th Jun - Level 3 and boss added.
8th July - Voice added to the A.I. & New bots introduced.
8th Sep - Level 4 & off-hand weapon added.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“On release I will only be charging for the amount of content that is available at that time, the cost will rise as more content is added. Early adopters win!

An announcement will be made well in advance of any price change.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“By welcoming all the valuable feedback from the community and utilizing it to make the game as exciting to play as it can possibly be.

If you have any ideas or anything you think would work in this style of game please share them and I'll take them on board. It's set in a virtual world so virtually anything can happen!”

I hope you enjoy this new update, as always if you have any issues or feedback please let me know!

Steam achievements will be added next week along with Windows Mixed Reality support and a Left or Right handed option.

Known issue: On the HTC Vive the laser targeting lags very slightly behind the movement of the shield and the gun, this is a know issue with the Unreal engine build that the game is currently using and does not affect the Oculus version.

This does not affect gameplay and is only noticeable if you are staring at the end of the gun while moving it quickly.

I am investigating a fix but it may require moving the game over to a newer engine build which will take a bit of time.
