Content update coming tomorrow - new levels

A new update releases TOMORROW.

This update is all gameplay. It contains:

A bonus tier of 6 brand new levels bringing the total number of levels to 26.

And you can now drive the pickup truck which features in 2 of the new levels, bringing the total number of player vehicles to 7.

The bonus tier is not tied to the existing progression and does not require any other part of the game to be unlocked to be played.

Here are the new levels:
  • Lane Drops and Falling Ahead
  • Slip Slidin' Away
  • Obstacle to Progress
  • Blasting Zone Ahead
  • Truck Stop
  • SmashBreaking the Law

A further update will come in December with more levels.

Update coming - car crash has caused a delay (no joke!)

We're a small team (there are 7 of us). We were lucky enough to hire a new guy recently, a fantastic coder called Ben. We all worked with Ben back on Need for Speed Hot Pursuit. His first job at the company was to do the new Steam update. We wanted to let him push the update live (and rightly feel proud of his work).

Last night on his way home he pushed his Danger Zone research a step too far! Yep he crashed his car. Happy to report that he seems to be ok but he is a bit late into work today and we decided to wait for him rather than push the update live without him.

So apologies for the delay but there is a good reason!

About This Game

Danger Zone is an all new 3D vehicular destruction game from independent British developer and seasoned genre veterans Three Fields Entertainment. The concept is simple : crash for cash by creating the biggest car crash.

Welcome to the Danger Zone – our new virtual Crash Testing Facility. Step into the shoes of a dangerous driver and survive a variety of challenging crash testing scenarios.

It’s easy to crash, but can you also grab all of the Bonus Pickups?

Powered by Unreal Engine, Danger Zone combines real physical crashes with explosive gameplay. Shunt vehicles into oncoming traffic, take down trailers to shed their payloads and use your explosive “Smashbreaker” to move your vehicle around. The more explosions you cause, the bigger your score.

If you’re feeling burnt out by congestion and jammed roads, take the highway to the Danger Zone. Take your revenge on rush hour traffic. This place is a paradise for those who like their driving flame-grilled.

Single Player Game Mode featuring 20 unique crash testing scenarios.
Connected Leaderboards allows comparison of player scores for Friends and the whole world.
