The graphics don't hold up compared to something like The Force Unleashed, but this game is still enjoyable to play. The ability to pick and choose certain missions gives you a little extra leeway in how you play the game, and what items you go into certain missions with. It even has two distinct endings, which is close to how many Mass Effect 3 had when it first came out. All joking aside, both endings do make sense in the context of the game and feel satisfying. The lightsaber combat can be a little BS sometimes, especially on higher difficulties, but whenever you have a good, long fight without randomly insta-dying, it's really satisfying and makes you feel like a Jedi.

7/10.

Jedi Academy is one of the greatest Star Wars games ever made, and possibly even one of the greatest Science Fiction games as well. It will always be a timeless classic, and although aged, its combat mechanics still hold the title of one of the most original, functional, intense, and absolutely fun engines for combat I've ever had the pleasure to experience. The lightsaber combat is at its best, tactical and precise, and at your worst, clicking furiously as Jaden slashes the saber frantically praying to avoid death, which is to say, still incredibly fun. The experience is concise and highly enjoyable, and the voice acting wonderful. The story is nothing new, but there are terrific moments, and never once does it feel unplayable, if only a bit redundant at times (which is quickly forgotten about once you get slashing and deflecting). The only major flaw with the game is a few puzzles that are unfair and require luck or prior knowledge, so keep a walkthrough open. But I assure you, to any Star Wars fan, to any Science Fiction fan, to any video game fan, there's something in here for you that's worth your time and money. I will always love this game and relish the hours of play and replay it has brought and will bring me, and I invite you to do so as well.

For me this may be the Best Star wars game ever made,
you really get the feeling you are in star wars, even that this game takes place a few years after star wars VI.
the Storyline and Side missions are really great, and it's feels like it's an open world you are in.
The controls are simple and easy to learn. if you want to make special attacks (most used in MP)
then your keyboard will get a bit advanced since there are alot of special attacks you can do with the right combination of keys.
Multiplayer is really great too, for me Single players is the best and could maybe need COOP but that what's we have mods to do, Multiplayer never gets boring there are plenty of game modes to play. Like Team death match, Death Match, Duel 1vs1 2vs2 4vs4 and alot more of gamemodes, The best gamemode: may be the Storyline game mode which focus on example jedies and Rebels has to storm a base and take down example the guns and Radars and the main core that controls the base. and a few more things. A round can be very long and fun (based on how fast you and your team are to clear the way and destroy the targets).
For me the graphics are wonderful i normally remap everything with HD texture but this game doesn't need it at all. It's wonderful and if your a star wars fan you wont regret you bought it.
