Another LucasArts classic point and click game. I played the game when it first came out back in the early 90s. One part I thought was great about the game was the different paths Indy could take that would ultimately lead to Atlantis, providing some replayability. Now all that needs to be added to Steam is the Day of the Tentacles and Sam & Max Hit the Road!

One of, if not THE best of the point and click adventure games of all time. I have played through countless times following each individual path.

I loved this game as a kid when it first came out and think it has held up quite well (aside from the graphics). Indy is in rare form searching for the lost city and his wit always delivers. He races against the Nazis (again) to locate Atlantis, which they believe is the source of "orichalcum" - a metal that produces immense energy at no cost and could potentially be used for war power.

During the first part of the game he is accompanied by the lovely psychic Sophia Hapgood, who provides him with acerbic banter. The second part of the game allows you to choose one of three paths: 1) Wits, 2) Fists, or 3) Teamwork. Each path is completely different and invites you to replay the game each way. Wits and Teamwork are my favorite.

In sum, "I think it's mayonnaise, but it looks like used motor oil."

The storyline to this 2D adventure game is so rich and enjoyable! I first played this game back in the 90's and it has stuck with me ever since. I love how you can choose between three paths, ultimately meaning that different scenarios will appear for each path during the course of that particular gameplay you have chosen, until they diverge in the middle part of the quest.

The puzzles range from easy to head-scrathching, and one thing to note is that with most games, there is often one way to solve a puzzle, unlike this one, where there may be multiple ways to solve certain puzzles.
The dated graphics are obviously nothing special, but does not detract from the game and the interface is easy to use.
Just remember to save games!

Would definitely recommend!

My first Point-and-Click game as a kid. Was really happy to see it on steam! Now I can relieve those childhood moments with Indy~!

Wish they'd put "Day of the Tentacle" as well!

Pretty good game! I never played this before although i am from that generation of point and click games. they were always fun.but Im writing this as an indiana jones fan, for that reason alone i say play this because its that right level of challeneging and it has the humor of the movies. the voice acting isnt bad except for brody. and i would reconmend this to anyone who has played point and clicks. but not to someone who doesnt know about p and c. it might be alittle annoying to new age gamers. over all 8/10 because i did have to look up what to do at the temple and glad i did because it wasnt very obvious what to do.

I remember hearing about this game when it first came out and was upset I didn't own a computer at the time to play it. Thanks to Steam, I finally had the chance and brought back a lot of nostaglia for games of that time. What impressed me the most is that the story is excellent. This should have been the fourth film and I do consider it a "hidden film" of the franchise. Voice acting is great as well. A landmark game and a very enjoyable one.

I remeber playing this when I was a kid...back in the days of MS-DOS and floppy disks. Glad to see it on steam so I can have a bit of nostalgia.

This is the best Indiana Jones game to date in my book. From the golden age of Lucas Arts adventure games, The Fate of Atlantis still holds up in my opinion. Admittedly, this statement is likely colored by my feelings of nostalgia for this game. If you are looking for a good point-and-click adventure, then point-and-click on the buttons necessary to purchase and play this game.

I remember first playing this game as a kid with my father when it was originally released in 1992. I was delighted to see it on steam and just had to pick it up (along with several other Lucasart's classics) for the nostalgia.

Wow, just wow! I just finished playing through it with a huge smile on my face. 22 years later and I loved it just as much now as I did then! Such a great point and click adventure game that has stood the test of time. This game is a true timeless classic.

This game has it all. Superior story, hard but satisfying puzzles, beautiful and immersive environments, humorous dialogue, and memorable characters. If you love adventure games and haven't checked this one out yet, do yourself a favor and play through a gem from the golden era of point and click adventuring.

Two big thumbs up from me!
