As someone who played R.U.S.E for around 200~ hours, I adore this game. It is everything ruse was, but far far better.

1. very very good stat cards tell you exactly how a unit will perform.
2. Big open maps that allow you to move around and attack/defend from a number of locations.
3. Standard unit selection and order process makes it easy to pick up for any RTS gamer.
4. A exceptionally pretty game that also runs smoothly

This game isnt without flaw, there are a few things that annoy me.

1. Camera doesn't always want to pitch up as far as I want
2. terrain details are not always blatent, which means you will sometimes mispostion your units.
3. Kind of confusing for the first 1-2 hours.

Amazing game.
If you're into wargames, strategy, and a serious challenge, this series of games (this is the first of 3, so far) is for you. You can see how many hours I've put into this one... it's that good.

This game is meant for people who not only enjoy RTS but also enjoy extreme realism, if you are not a fan of either of these then wargame is not for you, that being said I myself loved this game it is not only an amazing RTS but also the most realistic RTS I have had the pleasure of playing and I would highly reccomend it.

Wargame:EE is a mostly realistic RTS of which the setting is Europe during 1965-1975. You play as either a PACT or NATO country during the Cold War when all hell brakes loose. You use everything but Navy and Air Force in this game, to control strategic points, control high ground and set up ambushes on your enemy. You need to strategically place everything from ATGM's to recon units to almost every significant tank variant in the world at that time (T-55, T-62, T-72, T-80, M48 Super, M1 Abrams, Leopard 2A1) or you will lose. This isn't the type of RTS you can spam factories and a single unit and win, there are no factories and you need strategy. You also have to worry about logistics, for example, a ATGM soldier only carries from 6-12 rockets, you will need supply trucks close by to keep him full on ammo. All in all they created a pretty good game 8/10, my only quarrel with it is the command stars system, It takes entirely way too long unlock your multiplayer "deck" so you suffer with low level tanks as others still playing mp are running full decks, that, and the units you unlock in the difficult campaign do not carry over, but still very minor annoyances.

Quite an amazing game. I recommend that you buy it, and it was TOTALLY worth 20 bucks. The graphics are amazing, the troop diversity makes the game much more challenging, and honestly, it gave me an overall good time. Trust me. It will give you a good time, too.
